"You can't do anything that I don't approve of"- Love is Blind Habibi star Ammar shares his opinion on Karma's dancing career

Love is Blind Habibi premiered on Netflix on October 10. The experiment visited Arabian countries and allowed the single to find love that wasn't based on a person's looks.

Ammar and Karma were one of the couples that got engaged and went on a vacation trip to learn more about their future life partner. Ammar was against Karma's dancing career when they first met in the pods. The couple decided to look past their disagreement on the matter for the time being and got engaged.

They discussed the topic during their vacation. Karma wanted to continue her dancing career; however, Ammar was adamant about his beliefs and wanted her to leave that aspect of her life behind. He told Karma:

"I don't accept it in any shape or form, not any type of dancing... Look at it my way. Because you'd be my wife and partner. You can't do anything that I don't approve of or don't like."

After their yacht date at the start of Love is Blind Habibi episode 5, Ammar and Karma reunited for a discussion about their relationship and their life after marriage. Ammar complimented Karma and told her that he liked her because of her old-fashioned characteristics.

Ammar delved into the topic and added that old-fashioned relationships were better and love was more beautiful because everyone had their special role, different from the other one.

Ammar further told Karma that, although he was a traditional man, he didn't want to control her; he simply wished she would follow certain things according to him.

"I'm a very traditional man. I like not to control you, but there are specific things that I want. One, two, three, apart. You're free to do what you want," Amaar told Karma.

Understanding Ammar's perspective, Karma talked about her Love is Blind Habibi fiancé and said in her confessional that she felt he was a "kind person on the inside" who "deeply loves himself." She added that Ammar might look tough on the outside; however, she sensed something else in him.

When Ammar asked about her education, Karma shared that she studied marketing and found a balance between business and theater, so that she could pursue both at the same time. She later found dancing and it became an important part of her life.

Ammar suggested that she should focus on business rather than her entertainment career. Meanwhile, Karma was cemented on her passion and stated that she would do both.

Ammar asked her if she would pursue only acting in the entertainment field or if she would also continue dancing alongside it. While he was okay with her acting career, he had a disapproving look on his face when Karma replied that she had danced in front of people before and would continue to do so.

Reacting to her answer Ammar said:

"If you were a painter and have an exhibition, I'd love to see your work. I'd be proud of you. If you would be dancing... I wouldn't even go in the first place."

Love is Blind Habibi cast member further added that he disapproved of her dancing career and couldn't accept his wife being a dancer.

Karma tried to explain to Ammar that there were many types of dancing, that each one was different, and that every context was not the same. However, Ammar was adamant about his viewpoint and told his Love is Blind Habibi fiance that all kinds of dancing were "unacceptable" to him. He further stated:

"We need to agree on this topic, or else then do something else"
