Chrisdeo sang I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz, a song she dedicated to her mother. Both Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé pushed the button to turn their chairs around during her performance.

Chrisdeo’s rendition of I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz appeared to move the coaches deeply. Snoop Dogg was the first to turn his chair.

The rapper said,

“When I heard your first note, I knew to turn and hit that button. You are strong. You have a gift. And you're young, so you still got time to grow and learn how to cry tears of happiness.”

While the young performer appeared happy to see one judge turn around, she broke down in tears when Michael Bublé turned his chair right as the performance ended. Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani consoled Chrisdeo, getting up from their seats to hug the teenager.

Bublé then jokingly asked if seeing him turn his chair around made her cry.

Chrisdeo shared that she's a street performer and often faces ridicule from onlookers, and she never had anybody appear to be happy to see her perform.

“I just started crying because I’m a street singer. People, like, laugh at me when I sing. And it’s just hard because… everybody was just so happy to see me, and I’ve never felt that before.”

Praising Chrisdeo’s performance, he recalled his own experience as a street performer and sympathized with the emotional weight she carried on stage.

Bublé shared,

“I was a busker, too. At 16 or 17, I started playing in weird clubs where no one paid to see me. But I love that raw emotion I heard in you. I’m just so happy for you, kid.”

Reba McEntire, moved by Chrisdeo’s words, reassured her, saying,

“Next time those people say bad things to you on the street, just know that all the angels are around you listening to you doing what God gave you to do, and that sings with your beautiful voice.”

Chrisdeo’s backstory revealed the hardships she had endured growing up in Queens. Raised by a single mother in a low-income housing project, Chrisdeo shared how challenging it was to pursue her love for music in an environment filled with violence and discouragement. She stated in the promo,

“There are shootings and gang activity around me, and when I play the piano in our apartment, my neighbor bangs on the wall.”
