Too Hot To Handle season 6 finale was released on Friday, August 2, 2024, on Netflix. It featured the final workshop where all the housemates got emotional and shared how they felt during their time on retreat. Charlie praised Katherine with whom he built a strong connection on the show.
On Too Hot To Handle episode 10, each of the housemates was asked by coach Brenden Durell, who conducted the workshop, to share their journey. When it was Charlie’s turn, he shared that he found his special person, Katherine, and that he was grateful for that.
"Katherine you’ve been a massive part of my journey. I really feel like, you’re a special person, and I’m genuinely grateful from the bottom of my heart that I met you," said Charlie.

Charlie’s speech during final workshop: Too Hot To Handle episode 10
In the Too Hot To Handle season 6 finale, Lana arranged a Colors of Change workshop led by coach Brenden Durell at the beach. The housemates reflected on who they were when they arrived and who they would become after leaving the retreat and committed to how they would live going forward.
The coach told everyone about the workshop:
"In this retreat, you’ve all been on a transformational journey. So today, I’m going to invite each and every one of you, to speak from your heart, one by one."
Everyone laughed and was excited about the workshop. Katherine shared in her confessional that she hated public speaking, especially when discussing her emotions, as she never felt good at it. This made it especially hard for her to speak in front of people.
The coach invited all of them one by one to share their experience, starting with Charlie. The coach also told them to choose a single word that represents what they had learned there which they will carry forward with them for the rest of their lives. The coach also added that they also need to choose a color that represents that particular word.
He also told the participants that they all have been spending quite a lot of time together in the retreat, for a few days now. So they know each other so well, that they can share their feelings about the experience.
Before his speech, Charlie shared in the confessional:
"In the past, it’s fair to say I’d have done this speech on a bantery level because talking about feelings is not something I usually do. But I’m definitely feeling a little bit different to the man I’ve been before."
Charlie's speech: Too Hot To Handle season 6
Charlie came up at the beach stage and started his speech:
"I feel like coming into this retreat, I couldn’t really see myself opening up to people, being vulnerable, or being honest."
He added that he couldn’t see himself changing. However, after coming to the retreat, he has grown. Charlie shared that he learned more about honesty and that it is the most important thing.
Charlie further added in his speech:
"Whether you’re ending something with someone and whether you’re trying to start something new with someone, it’s important to be honest."
After that, he mentioned Katherine in his speech. Charlie continued and shared that Katherine has been a massive part of his journey. He felt like “you’re (Katherine) a special person.” He was genuinely grateful from the bottom of his heart that he had met Katherine.
The coach then asked Charlie to pick a word that represented his emotion, which Charlie would be taking outside of the retreat.
To that, Charlie’s reply was:
"In so many ways, I feel like I’ve awakened throughout this retreat. So, my word is awakening."
Everyone applauded to his speech and the coach described it as “beautiful.”
Before Charlie finished, the coach asked him, which color Charlie associated with awakening.
"Awakening is about growth. So, green," Charlie shared.
He went back to his seat, where Katherine hugged him. She shared in the confessional that, she admired Charlie a lot because he has grown so much as an individual.
