Yara, a star of 90 Day Fiancé, shared her thoughts on the December 23 episode of 90 Day: The Last Resort with Access Hollywood. The episode featured couples Natalie and Josh, and Sophie and Rob as Natalie accused Josh of flirting with Sophie on texts. Yara offered her honest opinion in the interview and stated that she would have handled the situation a little differently.
She did acknowledge that Natalie's past traumas may have influenced her actions. but expressed that Natalie handled the situation correctly. Yara clarified that she was more amazed by Josh's behavior during the whole ordeal.
Yara expressed her astonishment that Josh would accompany Natalie to 90 Day: The Last Resort, supposedly to work on their relationship, when it was clear he had no interest in being with her. According to her, Josh seemed to be using Natalie, as his true interest lied with trying to be with Sophie.
"Obviously, she do not handle it correctly, but this was crazy. Why does Josh go with her to The Last Resort to fix what he doesn't even want to be with that girl, he wants to be with Sophie. It just, like, blows my mind. You're using her obviously by this point," stated Yara.
90 Day Fiancé star Yara sympathized with Natalie over her troubled relationship with Josh
In the interview, Yara expressed her skepticism about Josh and Natalie's relationship, stating that there was nothing left for them to recover. She put her opinion forward, saying that Josh had no genuine interest in Natalie, and she struggled to come to terms with this reality.
When the reporter sympathized with Natalie, she acknowledged that Natalie seemed more invested in the relationship than Josh. They both agreed that despite not handling the situation perfectly, Natalie was too involved in the relationship emotionally despite not even being able to visit Josh's home.
Yara also shared her thoughts and expressed disbelief about Sophie's claim that she was simply being friendly with Josh. Yara went on to point out that Josh's comments were flirtatious and his messages suggested he had ulterior motives. She also questioned Sophie's decision to continue engaging with Josh despite being married.
"The thing with Sophie too. I think Sophie say that she was just trying to be friendly. I mean, woman, when some men tell you... sheesh, woman, and send you all this comments, obviously, he's trying to be more than friendly and like, what are you doing in this situation? You’re still married," stated Yara.
The 90 Day Fiancé star also doubted Josh's innocence in the matter as she believed that his actions were driven by a desire for Sophie. She found it hard to accept Josh's claim that his interactions with Sophie were intended to be friendly as the nature of his comments were flirty.
For the unversed, Episode 4 of 90 Day: The Last Resort saw a heated exchange between Josh and Natalie take place regarding Sophie. Josh even defended himself, claiming he had never made a pass at Sophie and only approached her as a friend. However, Natalie was unconvinced and she pointed out that the circumstances were suspicious given Josh even invited Sophie to meet in Vegas.
The conversation quickly escalated, with Natalie launching a verbal attack on Josh, labeling him a "wh*re" and expressing concern about catching a disease from him. Josh retaliated by suggesting he might "catch crazy" from Natalie, before ending the conversation and walking away.
Yara was asked to share her thoughts on the argument. While acknowledging that Natalie's behavior was unacceptable, Yara ultimately sided with her. Yara believed Josh was in the wrong for flirting with Sophie and engaging in inappropriate behavior while at 90 Day: The Last Resort. Although she felt Natalie's reaction was excessive, Yara held Josh accountable for his actions.
90 Day: The Last Resort is currently airing its second season on TLC.
