Young, Famous & African season 3 premiered on Netflix on January 17, 2025. The season brought back the cast to the Netflix show and started the episode with Zari's wedding to Shakib. Several cast members attended the ceremony, including Nadia and Annie who were previously at odds.
Just after the couple exchanged vows, Annie confronted Nadia about her actions in the past and why she chose Swanky over her. As the two argued, Annie called Nadia a "b*tch," and told the cameras she knew the cast member didn't attend Zari's wedding for the right reasons.
Later in the episode, Kefilwe, a newcomer, threw a party to get to know the cast better, however, the event saw Annie and Nadia clash once again. Annie told the cameras she wanted to address her issues with Nadia further and as the two got into it, Nadia clapped back at the cast member.
"You are being trashy," Annie responded.
What happened between Nadia and Annie in Young, Famous & African season 3 episode 1?
In Young, Famous & African season 3 episode 1, titled Love's In The Air, Nadia and Annie clashed at Zari and Shakib's wedding.
After the couple tied the knot, Annie said that she could no longer pretend everything was okay between her and Nadia. She added that she needed to understand why she picked sides between her and Swanky. The Young, Famous & African season 3 cast member was hurt by Nadia telling people that the two were not friends.
"Because as far as I'm concerned, Nadia and I don't have any issue," Annie told the cameras.
The Young, Famous & African season 3 star Annie told Nadia that she wanted to speak to her because the latter had a "problem" that she had no idea about. Meanwhile, Fantana asked the two if they were okay and Annie said Nadia was fighting with her by herself.
Nadia responded that she wasn't fighting with her, while Annie told Fantana that Nadia couldn't even tell her they were fighting. Nadia explained that the cast member didn't speak to her and further told the cameras that Annie thought it was the "best time" to address that she took sides when Annie and Swanky were fighting.
"And you're also just coming at me for what reason, Annie? We're not friends. Swanky's my friend, and we've been very clear about that from the beninging, honey," Nadia told the cameras.
Annie wondered why Nadia attended her dinner last year if she didn't consider her a friend. The argument continued even after the wedding at Kefilwe's event when the two ladies were the first ones to reach. Nadia said it was unfortunate that there were no other people to act as buffers between them since she was not able to pretend any longer.
Later on Young, Famous & African season 3, Annie chimed in on the situation in a confessional and said she wanted to talk to Nadia about what happened because she was being a "witch" during Zari's wedding.
The three discussed Zari and Shakib's wedding and Annie said she was happy for the couple "if" it was love. Her comment about "it that's love" upset Nadia, who said it was a "back-handed compliment." She told the cameras that the Young, Famous & African star "always" had negative things to say about people.
Annie further expressed doubt about the couple's age difference and Nadia asked why she had "any feeling" about their relationship. Annie asked why she shouldn't and the Netflix star confronted her about her "negative" comments.
"Everything that comes out of your mouth is toxicity, it's venom, it's acidic. You can't actually even fake it," Nadia told the cameras.
Nadia questioned whether it was the "right time" for Annie to bring up the past at Zari's wedding as the latter told the Netflix star she was being a "child."
