“He only spoke to my husband, even though I was the one who paid for the patent,” she said.
Greiner addressed the issue directly, asking the firm to replace the lawyer with someone who would treat her respectfully.
“I told them to send in a female attorney, and that’s how I started working with Natalie Kadievitch, who stayed with me ever since.”
Greiner frequently shared advice drawn from her experiences with the entrepreneurs she mentored. “Be polite, but call out injustices,” she often said, emphasizing the importance of handling difficult situations without letting them derail progress.
She also advised, “Don’t let business get personal. Shrug it off.” These principles guided her through challenges and helped her build a thriving business.
