What happened in Young, Famous & African season 3 episode 6?
The episode picked up where the previous one concluded as Fantana joined Diamond and Kefilwe in their meeting. In the last episode, Diamond revealed that he was interested in Kefilwe, but the latter wasn't interested in going out with anyone romantically. Diamond had also been previously involved with Fantana, making the situation particularly awkward for the Young, Famous & African stars.
Fantana wasn't impressed by Diamond's words when he said they were just "smashing". Diamond defended himself by saying that he didn't say anything wrong because that's what they had been doing. As things got heated, Diamond excused himself from the table and walked away.
"I don't put people in our business. But the more that you continue to talk about me in a certain way when I'm not there, then that's fine," Fantana stated.
In another segment, Zari was seen preparing breakfast for her new husband, Shakib. She revealed that they had been fighting lately which Shakib felt was Zari's fault as she was putting him in certain situations which made him defensive. For the unversed, Zari's ex, Diamond claimed that he had messages from Zari where she wrote about wanting a child with him.
Shakib confirmed on Young, Famous & African that he didn't see any messages from any other man on Zari's phone. Zari felt that Diamond was just trying to manipulate the whole situation around the newlyweds. After the two made amends, Zari expressed that she wanted to catch up with Annie as they had been quarreling for a long time.
Annie later met up with Ini Edo and was excited to meet with her friend after a long time. Annie expressed her grievances towards Swanky, Zari, and other members of the Young, Famous & African cast. DJ Naked met up with Diamond, Luis, and Swanky to play a game of padel. It was there that Diamond revealed to the men what happened with Kefilwe and Fantana.
Luis also confronted Diamond about the text message that the latter claimed to have since Luis was close to Shakib. When DJ Naked joined in, Diamond confessed that he felt Zari still wanted her.
"It's not like a feeling. That's something that I know. It's not feeling," said Diamond.
On the other hand, Zari visited Annie at her place as she wanted things to resolve between them. Annie also apologized for laughing at Zari for having a younger husband. Zari ultimately accepted her apology but things took a turn when Swanky showed up moments later. Although upset at first, both moved past their differences when they both apologized.
Things got further heated later on as DJ Naked invited everyone to Annie's party claiming that it was his party. Nadia and Fantana were particularly not happy as they felt they were lied to and didn't plan on having a conversation with Annie. The episode concluded with Nadia telling Annie that she didn't expect her to take accountability for her actions which she didn't appreciate.
All eight episodes of Young, Famous & African are available to stream on Netflix.
