The Boys is an American satirical superhero TV series created by Eric Kripke. The Boys is set in a world where seven superpowered individuals, known as "Supes," are celebrated as heroes by the public and work for Vought International, a powerful corporation that profits from their fame.
However, behind their heroic facades, most of these Supes are corrupt and cause collateral damage. The series revolves around two main factions: The Boys and The Seven.
Billy Butcher, a ruthless, CIA-like figure, leads "The Boys". He wants to reactivate his makeshift anti-superhero squad and sees Hughie Campbell, a store clerk as the perfect first recruit, especially since his girlfriend was killed by a superhero.
Along with Mother's Milk (MM), Frenchie, and The Female (Kimiko), they make up The Boys. Each of them has their own reasons for joining the team, but they are united in their mission to take down the Supes.
While season 4 of the show concluded in July, here is a list of 10 shows to watch while waiting for The Boys season 5.
