5 bizarre details about Kenni Finol's death and her relationship with El Pozoles

Kenni Finol was found dead in Mexico in 2017. She was an escort listed on the Zona Divas website. Her body was found in a Mexican neighborhood with her face wrapped in a plastic bag.

Although all the evidence that Kenni left on her second cellphone pointed at her ex-boyfriend El Pozoles being the alleged killer, the authorities to date have not taken any steps against him concerning the murder of Finol.

1) The manner of her death was horrifying

The Mexican Police found Kenni Finol’s body in an ally. She was cold and dead and her head was inside a plastic bag. As per reports, she died due to suffocation. She was also ra*ed and severely beaten before she was killed,

According to Kenni’s family, her alleged murderer is her ex-boyfriend El Pozoles, as he had a long history of violence when it came to Kenni, which her family was aware of.

2) El Pozoles would beat Kenni often

El Pozoles had threatened to kill Kenni on multiple occasions. He also attacked and assaulted her several times, which was documented in the videos recorded by the victim. She also kept the text messages and the voice notes exchanged between the victim and the alleged killer, as shown in Caught in the Web: The Murders Behind Zona Divas.

Kenni Finole had documented her whole life in Mexico and she also recorded videos where her face and body had bruises. She even revealed to her sisters back in Venezuela that El Pozoles was a hitman and informed them of his abusive behavior. However, Kenni could not leave him easily as he often threatened to kill her.

3) El Pozoles slashed Kenni with a blade and chopped off her hair

When Kenni went to pay El Pozoles one last visit, before they separated, he held her captive. He then chopped off her hair and made her look like a boy as Kenni revealed in the voice notes sent to her family, which were played on the show.

He even slashed her hand with a blade and tortured her. Kenni had enough torture and wanted to get back home. But she did not have her documents, as they were allegedly taken away by Zona Divas, or money for a flight ticket, to assist her to leave the country.

4) El Pozoles wanted Kenni to amputate herself

As per Caught in the Web: The Murders Behind Zona Divas, Kenni Finol’s unhealthy lover wanted her to hand over a piece of her body as proof of love. Kenni hired a hitman to shoot her twice in the foot. Then she went to a clandestine clinic, where the doctor told her that her toe could still be saved. However, Kenni told the doctor to amputate it and put it in a small box.

Kenni‘s sisters speculate that her boyfriend perhaps had an altar where he worshipped the Santa Muerte, where he put these body parts as a sacrifice.

Later when Kenni got fed up with this, she told El Pozoles that -

“I don’t want bodies or fingers or hands or anything like that in my house. I believe in God and I like thugs, but not murderers . ..”

5) A spiritualist's prophecy came true

As revealed in Caught in the Web: The Murders Behind Zona Divas, Kenni Finol’s mother told her that she had consulted a spiritualist, who revealed to her that her dreams about Kenni being in danger were true. Her mother told Kenni that as per the spiritualist,

"If she did not in less than 15 days, she wasn’t gonna come back at all….."

She told Kenni about the same and asked her to leave Mexico but Kenni didn’t insist on leaving. Her mother hung up the phone in anger and right before disconnecting, she told Kenni that she had a vision of blood and of her boyfriend killing her. So, she should come back home as soon as she can.

Unfortunately, Kenni never made it back home and fell victim to a vicious crime.
