The Italian romantic thriller titled Deceitful Love, released on October 9 on Netflix, is getting attention for its passionate scenes and themes of mature love. Starring Monica Corsicato and Giacomo Gianniotti, the series is directed by Pappi Corsicato and is based on the British miniseries Gold Digger.

The series is about a 60-year-old hotel heiress who falls in love with a young man, much to the dismay of her family, who doubt the man’s intentions. The series offers equal parts of romance and intrigue.

Like Deceitful Love, the series revolves around passion, intimacy, and hidden love. Both shows have an enigmatic lover that takes over the protagonist’s life.
