Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is a coming-of-age sci-fi adventure story created by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, starring Jude Law. It is a part of the Star Wars franchise and takes place in the same era as The Mandalorian and other interconnected spin-offs, which all take place after the events of the Return of the Jedi.

The show revolves around four children who get lost in the galaxy and must find their way home as they have made a discovery on their home planet. 1) The Mandalorian

This space western fantasy series features a cast that includes Pedro Pascal and Carl Weathers. This live-action Star Wars series, created by Jon Favreau, is also the first live-action series in the franchise. The Mandalorian follows a bounty hunter protecting a Force-sensitive child, Grogu, from remnant Imperial forces.

The show is set five years after the incidents of the Return of the Jedi and is in the same universe as Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Both shows have themes of adventure and exploration and cover the same galaxy.

2) The Book of Boba Fett

The Book of Boba Fett is also created by Jon Favreau and is a spin-off of The Mandalorian. This space western fantasy series occurs in the same timeframe and takes place after the events of the Return of the Jedi.

The series follows Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison), who wants to establish himself as the new crime lord of Jabba the Hutt's former territory. Viewers of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew must watch the show as all the spin-offs are interconnected and occur at the same time.

3) Ahsoka

This space fantasy series created by Dave Filoni is another spin-off sprouting from The Mandalorian and takes place in the same timeframe. Ahsoka features as cast, including Rosario Dawson, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Natasha Liu Bordizzo.

The series is about the former Jedi apprentice Ahsoka Tano and her allies as they fight against the remnants of the Galactic Empire as the New Republic is being created. Like Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, the series is from the same timeframe, and both shows revolve around quests.

4) Star Trek: Prodigy

Created by Kevin and Dan Hageman, this 3D animated sci-fi series belongs to the expanded Star Trek universe and is set in the 24th century. The story follows a group of young aliens who find an abandoned starship, Protostar, and use it to escape a prison colony.

Like Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, the series is aimed at children and has the same premise of being stuck in an unknown territory and having to find the way back home across vast distances of the galaxy.

Starring Diego Luna, Adria Arjona, and others, this sci-fi series created by Tony Gilroy is part of the Star Wars franchise and is a prequel to the movie Rogue One.

The series is about Andor, who is a thief-turned-rebel spy. The story follows his radicalization against the Galactic Empire and how the Rebel Alliance was formed. Like Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, the show has adventure and is part of the same franchise.

6) Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

A sci-fi series created by Akiva Goldsman, Alex Kurtzman, and Jenny Lumet, the show is part of the expanded Star Trek universe and is a spin-off of Star Trek: Discovery.

The series is about Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the USS Enterprise as they carry out missions in other worlds. The show is set before the original series, and like Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, the series is about exploring the galaxy and is set in an expansive universe.
