Executively produced by Dick Wolf, Chicago Fire, is the first installment in Wolf’s Chicago franchise. The show revolves around the personal and professional lives of firefighters, medical personnel, and rescue officer, of the Chicago Fire Department.

Set in a fictional Firehouse 51, the show is packed with action and thrill, as the emergency responders quickly strategize plans to save citizens’ lives daily. The show stars Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Lauren German, and others.

The unit is led by the US Navy SEAL Lieutenant Commander, Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin). The show also includes beautiful views of the Hawaiian state, when the unit decides to catch a break. The series focuses on the New York City field office criminal division of FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and the duo of dedicated special agents Maggie Bell (Missy) and Omar Zidan (Zeeko).

Like Chicago Fire, the show has an ensemble cast that relies on their dedication to serve people and has the same bureaucratic drama. FBI, is also similarly fast-paced and viewers of Chicago Fire will enjoy this one.

Viewers who enjoyed the firefighter show Chicago Fire, should watch this series as it provides the raw and brutal reality of emergency workers. It also has some of the most interesting cases and a suspenseful narration.

Also known as Bad Girls, LA’s Finest, is a spin-off of the Bad Boys franchise and stars Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. The show revolves around detective lieutenant Sydney Burnett (Union), who is an ex-DEA agent and detective Nancy McKenna (Alba), a former US Navy technician with a dark secret.

The women bravely fight it out against criminals while also juggling their personal lives, like the crew of Chicago Fire. While the show takes the help of comedy to keep the atmosphere light, it still has intense action scenes and a dedicated cast like Chicago Fire.

Based on a 1975 tv series and a 2003 film adaptation, S.W.A.T. is another procedural drama. The show revolves around Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Sergeant Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson (Shemar Moore), who is born and brought up in Los Angeles and is a former Marine.

Highly dedicated to the community he grew up in and his colleagues, Hondo is asked to lead a new elite unit of the LAPD, known as the Special Weapons and Tactics unit. Similar to Chicago Fire, the show is a procedural and highlights the high-octane drama that ensues in precarious jobs.
