Starring Iain Glen, Emily Hampshire, and others, The Rig is a British supernatural thriller. Created by David Macpherson and directed by John Strickland, the story revolves around a Scottish oil rig in North Sea, where crew members are about to go home but suddenly face a mysterious fog all around them.
Cut off from all other communications, the crew is stuck on the rig and begins to experience personality changes when the mist is found with spores. Soon, the crew members realize that an alien creature has latched onto the mist from the ocean floor.
