Cruel Intentions, part of the same-named franchise, is based on Roger Kumble's 1999 film, a modern version of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos' 1782 novel Les Liaisons dangereuses.
Cruel Intentions, set at a Washington, D.C. college among wealthy students, follows two manipulative step-siblings who will do anything to protect their status. The cast includes Sarah Catherine Hook, Zac Burgess, and Savannah Lee Smith, among others.
