Initially, Megan's decision to buy a s*x robot for her husband seemed like a harmless move but it set off a chain of events that got out of hand. Accused season 2 episode 8 showed that she made the choice out of desperation or even to get the passion back in her marriage.

However, over time, it became clear that the robot was more than just a gift and brought up deeper, unresolved issues in Megan and her husband's relationship. The robot was supposed to bring them together but as the episode progressed, it was clear that it caused a lot of confusion, leading to emotional issues between them.

However, it was after Megan bought the robot that things changed for her and her husband. When her husband asked her for a divorce, Megan lashed out and hit her husband with a vase, eventually killing him. The robot, designed by Megan's sister was the only witness to the crime.

Megan’s emotional turmoil: The aftermath of the divorce

In Accused season 2 episode 8, Megan ends up killing her husband after they get into a fight. Buying the s*x robot was her last ditch effort to save her and her husband's marriage but he had already given up on their marriage and told her that he wanted a divorce.

She kills him and the only witness to the crime is the robot that her sister has made for her. Megan approaches her sister and convinces her to manipulate the robot's memories of the event.

She made up a story that the robot malfunctioned and killed Megan's husband. This helped her get an acquittal on episode 8 of Accused season 2, and didn't have to face the results of her actions. The episode started off with viewers feeling sympathy for the protagonist but by the end, they were left rethinking their feelings about her.

The episode initially made fans wonder if Megan's actions were planned or a response to an emotional crisis. While she brought the robot to try and fix things between her and her husband, she did end up killing him in a fit of rage. Her idea of bringing the robot was an ill-thought-out attempt to save her failing marriage.

As they investigated her husband's murder, the detectives looked at Megan's behavior from a psychological point of view. They pieced together what had happened and came across the robot's confession, leaving viewers wondering if Megan's choices were justified.

Megan was found not guilty of her husband's murder but the Accused season 2 finale had viewers thinking that Megan's fate wasn't as clean-cut as they thought.

By the end of Accused season 2, the courtroom got chaotic and Megan's case got trickier. According to her defense, she did what she did to save her marriage but the prosecution argued that Megan's actions hurt her husband emotionally, leading to him asking for a divorce.

As the two sides argued the case, the character's blurred morals and ethics came to light.

While there was no clear answer about Megan's innocence or guilt, and while Megan was acquitted, she was also found guilty in a way that the viewers hadn't expected. The jury decided that Megan's actions were caused due to her feeling stressed and that she didn't mean to hurt her husband. However, since she couldn't change what she had done, she had to live with the consequences of her actions.
