The Agatha All Along season finale not only revealed the truth about where Tommy is, but also that it was Billy Maximoff who actually ended up creating the Witches' Road. This is further explored in episode 9 where the truth about Nicholas Scratch is revealed. It showcased that before Billy Maximoff birthed it into existence, the Witches' Road never existed.

On Agatha Harkness' side of things, it is also revealed that it was actually her who bound Jennifer Kale. Not only that but to save Billy from Rio, she sacrifices herself too.

Billy Maximoff possesses the same powers as his mother Wanda Maximoff. In the Agatha All Along season 1 finale, it is explained that it was Billy who actually birthed the Witches' Road into existence. Earlier, the Witches' Road didn't really exist, but Billy's need to find his brother led him down this path.

This is revealed at the end of episode 8 where it is showcased that Billy created the path and memorabilia inspired it in his childhood home. With Billy having the same powers as Wanda, he creates a series of trials where he can finally connect with himself and go down the path to find his brother.

This confirms the fact that Billy already had the means to find his brother, but he had to see it through by physically manifesting it so that he could then be guided along. However, by the end of the show, the Witches' Road ceases to exist again after Billy realizes that he unknowingly caused the death of three innocent people.

In the Agatha All Along season finale, Rio Vidal / Death reveals to Agatha that Tommy never reincarnated alongside Billy Maximoff. Rather, his soul is still inside Billy's. Rio then cuts a deal with Agatha and tells her that if she can get Billy to surrender, she will let go of her forever. However, Agatha still cares about Billy deep down inside of her.

During the final trial, Agatha helps Billy guide Tommy's soul into a suitable empty vessel. Finding a boy who is being drowned by a couple of other kids, Billy is able to transfer Tommy's soul into him.

Billy also learns that this boy grew up without love and questions whether he is killing him so that his brother can live. The reincarnation is successful, but it isn't revealed where Tommy exactly is.

Agatha's sacrifice sets up her next journey

In the Agatha All Along season finale, Agatha is ready to give up Billy in exchange for her own freedom from Rio. Rio also wants Billy as she believes that he cheated death by reincarnating and went against the natural order of things. While Agatha is eventually ready to give up Billy, he reminds her of Nicholas Scratch.

Agatha then turns around and walks over to Rio, kissing her and sacrificing herself in the process as well. However, death isn't the end for Agatha, as she returns as a ghost in the Agatha All Along season finale. While it's not explained how this happens, it may have to do with the fact that she has more left to do on Earth.

The season also ends with Agatha and Billy going into the light to find Tommy. A season 2 of the show isn't on the cards as of now, but fans can expect the sequel to follow the duo searching for Tommy out in the world.

The truth about Nicholas Scratch

Agatha All Along's season finale also reveals the truth about Nicholas Scratch. While Jennifer stated earlier in the season that Agatha traded her son to get the Darkhold, the reality is much sadder than that. While giving birth to Nicholas in the 1700s, Agatha finds herself stranded in the woods.

With the fate of Nicholas hanging in balance, Rio arrives to claim her dues. However, Agatha asks for more time.

Rio initially agrees and then the rest of the episode follows Agatha and Nicholas as they go around stealing powers from witches and killing them. However, in those moments, it is clear that Agatha cares for her kid.

But one night, Nicholas starts coughing and Rio once again arrives to collect him as the time she had given had run out.

Nicholas then passes away in the night. Agatha wakes up to see her kid dead and then buries him. She then goes around tricking other witches to join her on the Witches' Road from the lullaby that was made by her son so that she can steal their powers and kill them knowing fully well that the Road doesn't exist.

What happens to Jennifer Kale?

The Agatha All Along season finale also sees Jennifer be unbound. It is revealed that it was Agatha who bound her back in the early 1900s for a quick buck, and ever since then, Jennifer has been suffering because of her. During the final trial, Jennifer is able to break the bind and is free from the curse as she gets her powers once more.

At the end of the show, fans can see Jennifer emerging from the ground and escaping into the world.

With much having happened in Agatha All Along's season finale, fans can certainly expect this story to continue in the future. Given that the show sets up Billy Maximoff's quest to find his brother alongside the ghost of Agatha Harkness, it looks like the sequel to the Kathryn Hahn-starrer will be focusing on this.
