However, at the end of the episode, they emerged one member short of their team. Sharon a.k.a. Mrs Hart was the first to drink the poison and the last to receive the antidote. She did not survive the first trial after the witches emerged from the beach house onto the Road.

What happened to Sharon in the beach house on Agatha All Along episode 3?

Sharon realized the dangers of the Witches Road and became increasingly restless. She was even briefly trapped by a swamp and had to be rescued by the other coven members.

When the witches were faced with a riddle and a wine bottle, Sharon was the first to drink the wine. She said that she'd had a stressful day, and the others shouldn't judge her for being too eager. However, her face soon became swollen, and the other witches realized the drink was poisoned.

Jen identified the poison and was the first to work towards building an antidote. However, Sharon started hallucinating as an effect of the poison in her system.

Agatha All Along episode 3 pulled a shocking twist with Sharon's death. Even though the character was not a witch who possessed powers, she made an impact with her relatable presence.

However, Sharon's death might lead to the coven eventually gaining another member. As per the rules of the Ballad of the Witches Road, if a member of the coven dies, the rest must move along.

One's mind goes back to the trailer which depicted Rio emerging from the ground, almost as though she had been buried. The viewers know that the coven is missing a witch who possesses earth magic which is Rio's area of expertise. Assuming that the coven decided to bury Sharon and move ahead, it makes sense for Rio to harness the event and join them.
