What can fans expect from Agatha All Along episode 5?
1) Teen's identity
In episode 4 of Agatha All Along, it was established that Joe Locke's Teen isn't Agatha's son. This is revealed to her when Rio Vadal and she share an intimate moment, and she tells her, "That boy isn't yours," while referring to Teen. This just hints further towards Teen being Billy Kaplan, the son of Wanda Maximoff, rather than Nicholas Scratch in the show.
So far, the series has constantly teased Teen as Billy Kaplan by even ensuring he is bewitched from saying his name. However, the last episode led many fans to believe that Locke is playing Nicholas Scratch (Agatha's son) instead, and that's why they have such a close connection with each other.
With it being confirmed that Teen isn't Nicholas Scratch now, fans can soon expect to see him be showcased as Wanda's son Billy.
2) Fate of Nicholas Scratch
With Rio also confirming that Teen isn't Agatha's son in Agatha All Along episode 4, it leaves Nicholas Scratch's fate in the Marvel Cinematic Universe open. In the previous episode, it was revealed that Agatha had traded her son in order to receive the Darkhold. While it was implied that Scratch had died, Rio's comments of saying that Teen isn't her son imply the fact that Nicholas Scratch is alive.
In the comics, Nicholas Scratch is also the father of the Salem's Seven and hates his mother for abandoning him to explore the outer world. Seeing as we have already been introduced to the Salem's Seven in the show, it could mean that Scratch is sending out his daughters to get revenge on his mother. However, it remains to be seen exactly where he is right now.
3) Hints towards Rio Vidal's true identity
Agatha All Along episode 4 also hinted at Rio Vidal's true identity being Death in the show. Her original role in the series started as wanting to kill Agatha Harkness before joining her on the Witches' Road. However, in the disco-themed trial of episode 4, Rio revealed that she was growing impatient and wanted to kill Agatha.
She also revealed that she was in the Coven so that Agatha would betray the other witches and kill them, such that Rio could get her "bodies," implying that she reigns over the dead. This seemingly implies that she is Marvel's version of Death as she has a lot in common with her comic book counterpart.
However, fans will have to wait for future episodes of Agatha All Along so that these revelations can take place. For further updates, stay tuned with us.
