In Agatha All Along episode 5, it's finally revealed that Joe Locke's Teen is Billy Kaplan, the son of Wanda Maximoff. This is a reveal that has been theorized about since the start of the show, and with it being finally confirmed, it sets up the future of the show really well.
Also seeing that Alice Wu was seemingly killed in this episode, it looks like the coven is surely going to have a difficult time forward.
Going into episode 6 of Agatha All Along which is set to come out next Wednesday on October 16, 2024, fans can expect a lot going into the episode. From seeing how Agatha figured out Billy's identity, to getting to know why Billy's identity was kept a secret all this time - fans are in for a whole lot of revelations.
Agatha All Along episode 6:
The reason behind Billy's identity being kept a secret
Fans can expect to find out exactly why Billy's identity was kept a secret all along in the show. Given that a sigil was put on him, it certainly alludes to the fact that it was done by Wanda Maximoff to protect him from other witches. But it still doesn't explain why Wanda would do that - and this is a massive revelation.
In the comics, Billy Kaplan and his twin Tommy Shepherd are born after their souls are replaced in random families after Mephisto is destroyed. This can lead back to Wanda and her trying to protect her son from the demon as well. While hints at Mephisto have been dropped in the show, perhaps Billy's origins can lead to him as well.
How did Agatha figure out Billy's identity?
One of the major mysteries of episode 5 was how Agatha got to know about Billy's identity. In episode 4, Rio did reveal to Agatha that Teen wasn't her son, but it wasn't explicitly stated whether he was Wanda Maximoff's son either. With Agatha knowing that Billy is indeed Wanda's son, it raises more questions.
This can directly lead to Agatha knowing about Wanda following her conversation with Rio, which has led to her developing some animosity towards Billy. With her and Wanda being arch-nemesis, fans can also expect to see her and Billy face off down the line.
Rio Vidal's true nature
Throughout the show, Rio Vadal's true nature has been hinted upon. With many theorizing her to be Death, and a Funko Pop leak even revealing that she is indeed Marvel's version of Death, episode 5 further solidified that.
In episode 4, she can be seen talking to Agatha about how she can't wait to try and kill her again, and then in episode 5 she again does something similar.
After Billy starts facing off against the other witches at the end of the episode, Rio disappears from the scene as Alice Wu just died moments earlier. Given that Rio has been obsessed with the dead throughout the show, it's possible that she disappeared from the scene to deal with Alice's body.
However, all will be revealed when Agatha All Along premieres its episode 6 next Wednesday.
