Agatha All Along episode 7: Lilia’s Sigil connection and Tarot trial explained

Agatha All Along episode 7 revealed Lilia Calderu's fate to the audience and it was not a happy one. Those who have been following the show since the beginning would be aware that Lilia is someone who usually tries to control her powers, especially her visions, after having faced strong repercussions for the same in the past.

However, in Agatha All Along episode 7 her powers went beyond her control and she was forced to make to and fro rounds between her past, present and future to find answers to the questions that were laid in front of her.

The question here was a Tarot trial, in which Lilia was required to perform tarot card readings, following whose completion she and the rest of the coven, including Agatha and Billy could move forward in the Witches Road.

The episode also revealed Lilia's Sigil connection with Billy Maximoff. During one of the initial meeting moments between Lilia and Billy in the episode, Billy quips Lilia if she was the one who put the sigil on him. Lilia answers in the affirmative and reveals that she did so to protect his life which was in danger at the time.

Towards the beginning of Agatha All Along episode 7, while Agatha and Billy were situated at a particular location, Lilia and Jen were situated at a different one. However, not long after the episode commenced, Agatha and Billy needed Lilia and so she was summoned to be a part of their journey.

To move on to the next step in their journey on the Witches Road, Agatha and Billy needed to indulge themselves in tarot card reading. Billy, who was aware of the practice, wasn't an expert and Agatha on the other hand, was dismissive about the whole practice altogether. Therefore, they called on the person who they thought was best fitted for the role, Lilia Calderu.

Lilia arrived along with Jen and the former was soon pushed into a tarot card reading session that would allow all of them to move forward to the next step without being injured by swords that were constantly falling off the ceilings.

Lilia started reading the cards, and while each card brought her closer to helping the others in their journey on the road, it also facilitated the chances of her death. Throughout the process, Lilia had several premonitions along with flashbacks.

She was also very rapidly transported between periods starting from her childhood, to the time she started practising witchcraft, to the time of her upcoming death. However, despite the chaos Lilia was surrounded by, in Agatha All Along episode 7, she managed to help the others in their journey. However, she was not able to help herself as the episode seemingly confirmed her death by the end.

When Lilia Calderu first finds herself in the presence of Billy Maximoff, her emotions are that of anger towards him. However, it soon wanes off when she realizes that Billy is apologetic and is trying to read her mind.

Following this brief heated interaction, Billy finds the opportunity to ask if Lilia was the one who put a sigil on him. Lilia answers positively and reveals that it was her way of ensuring his safety after knowing about his true identity following a palm reading session at his bar mitzvah.
