Agatha All Along finally premiered its first two episodes on September 18, 2024, and it followed Agatha Harkness as she tried dealing with the events of WandaVision. Having lost her powers, she teams up with a boy who is only known as the "Teen" to go down the Witches' Road with him so that she can get what she wants and forms a new coven in order to complete the trials.
While Agatha All Along does reintroduce us to Agatha Harkness and introduces us to her Coven of Witches, it also showcases the Salem's Seven who are poised to be one of the antagonists of the series.
Making their appearance in the second episode of the series, the Salem are first teased in the first episode. When Vidal helps break Agatha's spell, Harkness asks her to spare her life, but the witch warns her that the Salem's Seven will be coming after her at sundown. And the Salem's Seven inevitably ends up arriving to face Agatha.
Dressed in all-black outfits with a wraith-like feeling to them, they sure stir up some horror here. However, Agatha All Along doesn't exactly reveal who this group is and what their deal is, and for that exact reason, let's go take a look at their comic book storyline.
Salem's Seven from Agatha All Along explored
Before appearing in Agatha All Along, Salem's Seven was first seen in The Fantastic Four #186 and the group was created by Len Wein and George Perez. The group consisted of seven magically mutated superhumans who were siblings as they shared the same father, Nicholas Scratch. They resided in New Salem, Colorado, with the place known for housing people with occult powers.
But aside from that, the group also shared a connection with Agatha Harkness herself. Agatha, being Nicholas Scratch's mother, was the grandmother of Salem's Seven as well. The group was made up of half-siblings Vertigo, Brutacus, Gazelle, Hydron, Reptilla, Thornn, and Vakume.
While the members of Salem's Seven were all human originally, they could also turn into mutated forms which gave them superpowers. While Agatha All Along hasn't yet confirmed that Salem's Seven shares a direct connection with Agatha Harkness herself, fans can expect to see this as a reveal in the upcoming weeks.
However, it is unsure whether Marvel Studios will show these characters have a direct relation with Agatha Harkness as the studio may change their origins. Fans can certainly expect to learn more about this version of Salem's Seven in the next few episodes.
