All American: Homecoming is a sports drama series created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll for The CW. It's a spin-off series of All American, which premiered on The CW in 2018. The series aired its first season, consisting of 13 episodes, between February 21, 2022, and May 23, 2022. The show was initially scheduled for an October 2023 release date, but the writer's and SAG-AFTRA strikes forced the release schedule to be pushed to 2024. The series will now premiere its third installment, consisting of 13 episodes, on Monday, July 8, 2024, on The CW.

In June 2024, weeks ahead of the show's season 3 premiere, The CW announced that the series will be canceled after its third season. Without any official reason given, it seems the decision was likely made due to budget cuts. Furthermore, the series also shifted two of its regular cast members, Peyton Alex Smith and Kelly Jenrette, to recurring cast members.

Likewise, Cam, Keisha, and Nate will also struggle to balance their highly-demanding career ambitions with their equally-consuming romantic pursuits.
The upcoming season will also focus on Thea Mays setting her sights on the pro-circuit. Lastly, viewers will see how JR copes with being ousted from the KEK and reclaim his future following his treatment for aplastic anemia.
Given that the series was canceled long after wrapping up filming of season 3, it's unlikely that the series will end all of its storylines conclusively by the season finale episode.
