The first episode of Worst Ex Ever, titled Dating the Devil, shows the relationship between Justine Siemens and Benjamin Foster. Foster, it was found, was a man of a particularly violent temperament with a long history of criminality and abuse.

As Siemens exposed his past, Foster lashed out on her and tortured her for days. He was charged with several offenses, like attempted murder, assault and kidnapping. However, he evaded the police. NBC News reported on February 2, 2023, that he took his own life before the police could reach him.

Betrayed by the Badge, episode 2 of Worst Ex Ever, narrates the chilling tale of Jerry Ramrattan. Ramrattan and Seemona Sumasar were romantic partners before Seemona found out that he was already married with kids.

After a break-up, Ramrattan r*ped Sumasar. On being released from prison on bond, he impersonated a police officer and framed Sumasar in several cases, for which she had to serve time in prison.

After Ramrattan’s deceits were discovered, he was sentenced to more than 21 years in prison. He's currently held at the Eastern New York Correctional Facility. He will not be up for parole until December 2031, as per a report published by People magazine on August 30, 2024.

3) Rosa Hill

Killing for Custody is the third episode of Worst Ex Ever, and it shows how a woman went to extreme lengths after she was denied custody of her child. Rosa Hill and Eris Hill split in 2007, but Eric retained custody of their newly born child.

That infuriated Rosa so much that she, along with her mother, Mei, killed Eric’s 91-year-old grandmother as revenge and fatally attacked Eric.

Rosa and Mei were convicted of first-degree murder and premeditated attempted murder. They are currently serving life sentences at the Central California Women’s Facility.

4) Kevin Lewis

The fourth and final episode of Worst Ex Ever, titled Married to a Monster, tells the story of Amanda Canales and Kevin Lewis. Lewis attacked Amanda several times after she asked for divorce in 2016. Lewis didn't stop here.

He hired his cousin, Jerradon Phelps, to murder Amanda. Phelps teamed up with Alexis Hale, but they ended up killing Alisha, Amanda’s sister, instead, in 2017. The two murderers were caught only in 2020 after the police received a tip.

While both Phelps and Hale were convicted of premeditated first-degree murder, Lewis was convicted of aggravated first-degree murder. Lewis is currently serving life in prison with no parole. Phelps and Hale were sent to prison for 31 and 15 years, respectively.
