Kelly Villares, from Weehawken, New Jersey, was featured as a rookie candidate on Netflix's America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders released on June 20, 2024.
Introduced by DCC director Kelli Finglass, Kelly had previously cheered for Rutgers University's team for four years, graduating in 2023. Despite not making the DCC team, she became a fan favorite due to her dedication, strong will, and hard work.
Post the show's release, her whereabouts were not known as she is not very active on her social media. However, she occasionally uploads pictures with other rookie members of the DCC, whom she met during the auditioning process. Having said that, as per the latest developments, it appears that Kelly is auditioning for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading team yet again.

On June 26, 2024, DCC's Instagram page uploaded photos of the rookie candidates for the 2024-2025 period that included Kelly's photo, suggesting that she was auditioning to be in the team yet again.
To confirm it further Kelly also commented on the post and wrote:
"I am so privileged and honored to be back in Training Camp. Grateful is an understatement!! Thank you for this opportunity."
In another comment, she also wrote:
"An honor to be dancing alongside such amazing women!"

Kelly Vilares and her parents have mentioned in America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders time and again that being a part of the cheerleading team was Villares' childhood dream.
On the show, it was revealed that Kelly Villares had been dancing since she learned to walk and was meant to excel in it. Her parents, despite their divorce, supported her dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Although Kelly and her parents were disappointed when she didn't make the final team, she will be auditioning again this season.
