Kelsey Lowrance-Smith, a two-year veteran of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, retired from the squad in 2018. She was not a part of the 2023-2024 roster featured in the Netflix docuseries America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

Currently, Kelsey Lowrance is a member of the 2024 roster of another cheerleading squad, the Las Vegas Raiderettes. She joined the squad for the 2023 season, making her a two-year Raiderette veteran.

Kelsey Lowrance is active on her Instagram and X and has appeared on her husband, Brodie Smith's golf-focused YouTube channel. She is currently in training with the rest of her Raiderette squad.

Kelsey Lowrance is a Las Vegas Raiderette

Kelsey has begun her second year with the Las Vegas Raiderettes, cheering during the 2024-2025 NFL season.

The Raiderettes have been a prominent figure in NFL cheerleading since the 1960s, when Diane Shelton performed as a majorette dancer for the Las Vegas Raiders band during their preseason game against the Dallas Texans. Diane Shelton's iconic performance served as the inspiration for the formation of the Las Vegas Raiderettes.

Kelsey Lowrance retired from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in 2018

Kelsey Lowrance had a two-year career with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders before retiring in 2018. She considered her time with the squad to be a formative experience in her life. In her retirement video, she said:

"My journey to become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader was a very long and hardworking and just...life-changing experience. I started off as a young 18-year-old girl trying to make her dream team, having no idea what she had in store for her, and now I'm finally here as a 24-year-old woman saying goodbye to Cowboys Nation, so it's been a long journey for me."

Kelsey had fond memories of many landmark events a cheerleader experiences, such as being selected for the final roster and cheerleading for Game Day for the Dallas Cowboys.

Aside from her Game Day experiences, Kelsey found other Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader activities meaningful:

"I really like during the holidays when we visit everyone in the children's hospitals and, you know, Thanksgiving time and the holiday season, so much charity work that the Cowboys organization does for the community."

Kelsey noted that her journey to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders was not a smooth one and hoped her perseverance would inspire others. She added:

"The most rewarding part about being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader is probably inspiring others, especially with my journey. It was a rough one, but I saw the light, I made it through, and I think that shows a lot of different people that even though you get told "no" once, twice, three times, you can always do what you believe that you can do, your dreams are never far from reach."

Kelsey married professional disc-golfer and internet influencer Brodie Smith in 2019. She has featured prominently in Brodie Smith's YouTube channels, which showcased their wedding video along with a Q&A about how they met. According to the Q&A:

"On February 14, 2017, Valentine's Day, our church that both of us actually go to without knowing, we had services on Tuesday for single young adults called The Porch. So on Valentin's Day, me and a group of guys I go to The Porch with were all single at the time and we didn't have any dates or anything."

At that time, Kelsey was in another relationship and had gone to the same church service with her then-boyfriend.

Her then-boyfriend recognized Brodie from his Vine videos and tried greeting him, which annoyed Brodie. Kelsey later ended her relationship and became friends with Brodie for three months before they started dating.

Kelsey Lowrance may not be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader anymore, but she hasn't given up her passion. She will be cheering as a Las Vegas Raiderette for the 2024-2025 NFL season.
