Diane Audrey Gabrinowitz Malone was born in Coram, Suffolk County on March 7, 1972. Diane was married to a surfer and a carpenter, David Malone, with whom she shared three children - Audrey, Matthew, and Nathan.
Diane Malone met David during their teenage years as she studied at the Long Beach Senior High and he attended the Long Beach Catholic School. The two tied the knot in 1998. Diane worked as a model one time and in a gym in Long Beach. Diane also did some bookkeeping for several local companies including the New York Sports Club.
David and Diane were married for six years and the family lived in their home in West End in Long Beach, according to the New York Post. However, their marriage was allegedly laden with domestic abuse which led to their separation eventually. At the time of Diane's murder, both David and Diane were seeing other people, per the New York Times.
