Bad Monkey season 1 finale titled We're in the Memory-Making Business arrived on Apple TV+ on October 9, 2024. The show's antagonists from the beginning, Nick and Eve, eventually meet their fate in this episode, which eventually satisfies Bad Monkey lovers.

Neville, in Bad Monkey episode 9, severely hurt Nick by pushing a half-broken fishing rod behind him. Nick had been in discomfort ever since and, was unable to sit or walk normally.
When Nick and Eve plan their getaway on their recently purchased yacht in episode 10 of Bad Monkey, Eve informs Nick that he will no longer be able to care for him because he is so ill. Knowing that Eve is about to kill him, Nick says his last goodbyes to her before she pushes him into the river, where he falls and drowns.
In the next few days, Neville, who goes fishing, discovers Nick’s body and informs everyone about the same. Neville meanwhile steals Nick’s watch, which can buy Neville a fortune now. Later in Bad Monkey episode 10, Neville decides to sell the watch and rebuild his broken house on the island.
What happens to Eve?
In Bad Monkey episode 10, Eve leaves Yancy, Egg, and Neville on the island and makes a quick getaway in her yacht. She moves to a new home soon in the episode, which she purchases with Nick's money.
Later in the episode, Eve is shown with a fresh hairstyle, sipping exquisite champagne, and her face kissed by the sun. Her happiness, however, is short-lived as she chokes on her favorite snack, trips and falls off the terrace, and dies.
What happens to Gracie?
Gracie, also known as the Dragon Queen, faced Eve in a confrontation after she had returned to believing in her abilities in Bad Monkey episode 9. The opening scene of episode 10 shows her trying to scare Eve off the island. Lightning strikes one of the trees, and Eve waits for the perfect opportunity to push her to the ground as the tree's branches collapse.
As Gracie falls, one of the sharp and broken branches pieces her heart, which causes her tragic death, restoring balance on the island with this sacrifice.
Before Gracie’s spirit can completely leave her soul, she pays a visit to Egg, Ya-Ya, and lastly Lulu. Gracie hints at Lulu being the next Dragon Queen and tells her to embrace her powers and start her journey.
Do Yancy and Rosa end up together?
No, Yancy and Rosa do not end up together. Upon Yancy’s trip back to Miami, he is once again expelled as a detective and has to work as a food inspector once more, to get his badge back, as compensation.
Rosa arrives at Yancy’s home in the final moments of Bad Monkey episode 10, and they make love one final time before Rosa breaks the news to Yancy that she is not ready for a commitment yet. After this, she leaves him and goes.
Though the two lovers do not end up together for the time being, it is clear that this is not a farewell, and Yancy hopes to see, and spend time with her in the future.
What is Yancy’s new case?
In the last few minutes of the episode, Yancy’s pal Rogelio arrives at his home and tells him that there is evidence in Rogelio’s car that he wants Yancy to look at. Yancy hesitates initially; however, he cannot stop his detective urge and finally agrees to look at the evidence in the car.
Apple TV has not yet approved season 2 of the show, but fans can expect to see Yancy and Rogelio in a season once more, which will likely explore a fresh case, given the show's excellent reviews and Vince Vaugh's technique of drawing viewers in with his humor.
