Bad Monkey episode 6 arrived on Apple TV+ on September 11, 2024. This episode picks straight from where the previous episode concluded. In the final seconds of the fifth episode, Eve and Nick escaped on their private jet. However, Eve was aware that Yancy was alive and her husband failed to kill him after Yancy called her and confirmed the same.
Episode six of Bad Monkey starts with Rosa and Yancy leaving the runway in Rosa's car. Although Rosa and Yancy seem disappointed about not being able to catch Nick and Eve, Yancy’s theory of Nick being alive has been confirmed. The new couple just has to figure a way out now to catch the frauds and reveal their deception to the cops.

Bad Monkey Episode 6: A recap
Yancy calls his partner
A few minutes into Bad Monkey episode 6, Yancy calls Rogelio and tells him about Nick being alive. Rogelio on the other hand doesn’t second the idea of Yancy calling him as an arrest warrant is out in Yancy’s name, after the cops think that he killed Israel and Heather. Yancy still convinces Rogelio to meet him. Meanwhile, Rosa drops Yancy a block away from his own home. Yancy reaches his house and finds Bonnie with Cody.
Later, Cody and Bonnie leave the house and go to Yancy’s father’s old cabin.
Yancy gets arrested
Soon in episode 6 of Bad Monkey, when Yancy goes to meet Rogelio, he finds out that his partner has called the cops on him. They come and arrest Yancy and also recover Nick’s phone and his severed finger from Yancy’s pocket. Meanwhile, Mendez puts Yancy in jail and although Yancy tries to strike a deal with him so that he could get him out of jail, Mendez doesn’t agree.
Neville gets shot
After Neville escapes from Egg and his men in episode five of Bad Monkey, in episode six he comes back to the Dragon Queen for help once more. However, to his shock and utter disappointment, he finds the Dragon Queen making love with Egg. As Neville looks at them through the video, Egg spots him, takes out his gun, and fires at Neville. Neville gets shot in the arm but manages to escape once more. He hops onto Nick and Eve’s private jet and hides in it.
Bonnie realizes her mistake
Bonnie goes with Cody to Yancy’s father's old cabin. Here she meets Yancy’s father, Jim. Later, Cody and Bonnie go swimming in the crystal clear waters and she meets a manatee underwater. Bonnie thinks that the manatee is nature's way of telling her that she should reunite with Cody, although they have a huge age difference.
However, later in the episode, Bonnie understands how she has been wrong the entire time. She reads Cody’s novel about their illegitimate relationship and realizes that he is obsessed with her, however, his love is immature. She contemplates that Cody cannot be blamed for this as she slept with him when he was underage and gave him hope about the two dating. Before she can introspect more, she finds out that the FBI has tracked her down to the cabin. Bonnie takes Jim's airboat and absconds.
Rosa goes to the airport
Meanwhile, Rosa who needs to find the private jet, goes to the airport. The jet will help him and Yancy find Nick and Eve and prove Yancy’s theory of the fraud death insurance scheme to the cops. Rosa looks for any kind of evidence that might help however, she is interrupted by some drug peddlers. Rosa hides under a table and waits until everyone leaves to continue looking for evidence.
Rogelio decides to help Yancy
After Rogelio helps Mendez and Sonny arrest Yancy, he returns home. However, deep down he knows that Yancy is innocent. Soon, Rogelio gets a flashback in which he sees Yancy talking to Benito and explaining to him about the guiding light and baby turtles on Benito’s birthday. Rogelio knows that Yancy considers him as his guiding light.
He also knows that Yancy has always treated him as his sidekick, his partner, and his best friend. Hence, he promises Yancy that although he is arrested for now, Rogelio will try in every way to find the truth and help Yancy out of jail.
Next up, Rogelio goes to Israel’s neighbor who had previously testified to Mendez against Yancy. He goes in the hope of looking for more information and finds out that the old lady had also seen a man with one hand ( Nick) outside Israel’s house before she saw Yancy. Rogelio also learns that Mendez asked her to lie about the same and therefore she changed the statement and only talked about seeing Yancy to the cops.
Later, when Yancy sits with the feds and his lawyer, Rogelio tells everyone that when Israel died, there was someone else present at the crime scene, even before Yancy could arrive. He also makes the feds aware of Mendez’s deception. Mendez meanwhile tries to tell everyone that he has more evidence to keep Yancy in jail and then walks out of the room and does not return.
Meanwhile, Rosa who was looking for evidence, finds Nick and Eve’s jet. When she opens the door, she finds Neville, who is bleeding and in pain after Egg shot him previously.
The Dragon Queen strikes a deal and later gets kidnapped
The Dragon Queen who had previously helped a client die, tells Egg to set a meeting with Nick and Eve, stating she has something important to discuss. Later in the episode, she meets Nick and Eve. She tries to sell the property to Nick however, Nick doesn’t want to pay enough, which makes her furious.
She leaves the couple’s villa and tells them about how she can sense fear and guilt in their hearts, revealing to them that she knows Nick and Eve have done something wrong and she is aware of the same.
In the final seconds of the episode, The Dragon Queen gets abducted while she is walking in the forest. Although she screams, no one comes to her aid. However, we are not shown who is the abductor.
What to expect from Bad Monkey episode 7?
In the next episode of Bad Monkey, we expect more developments in Yancy’s storyline. As Rosa has now found out about the plane, perhaps it will help her and Yancy find Nick and Eve and also arrest them.
Meanwhile, Yancy should be out of jail, now that Mendez has been exposed. Will the cops help Yancy find Eve and Nick and will they believe in Yancy’s theory will be interesting to see. Meanwhile, the question of the hour is who abducted the Dragon Queen? Although viewers can guess it to be Nick or Eve, there can always be a twist in the tale.
It will also be interesting to see what Neville and Rosa will talk about. Perhaps, Neville can be their biggest lead and can help Yancy find Nick and Eve.
