Bad Monkey episode 7, titled, A Total Cat Person arrived on Apple TV+ on September 18, 2024. Episode 6 of the show ended on a cliffhanger as the Dragon Queen was abducted in the final minutes, making fans of the show wonder about her fate in the upcoming episodes.
The recent episode picks up straight from there and it is confirmed that Eve and Nick kidnapped the Dragon Queen previously. However, they meant no harm to her.

Episode 7 of Bad Monkey starts with the Dragon Queen. After she is abducted and taken to a mysterious place in the trunk of a car, all she can think of is death.
With the vehicle moving and the Dragon Queen in the trunk, she gets flashbacks of her childhood days. In her visions, she hears her mom call her Gracie, and soon the scene shifts to her mother’s demise, after which Gracie transforms into the Dragon Queen under the guidance of her Yaya.
Once the car stops and Gracie, aka the Dragon Queen, is let out of the trunk, she sees Eve pointing a gun at her. Eve reveals to her that she assigned Nick to kidnap her after she declined their offer for the land that she was selling.
Eve and Gracie negotiate yet again the next day, after which she sells the land to the couple. With the money she gets, she buys a wheelchair for her Yaya.
Yancy shoots Mendez
In this episode, Yancy is already out of prison and waits in his car outside Detective Mendez’s residence with his pal Rogelio. Rogelio apologizes to Yancy for getting him arrested, while they wait for Mendez to arrive so that they can arrest him for tampering with evidence previously.
Soon Mendez arrives on the scene and is handcuffed and made to sit in Yancy’s car. However, Mendez sees Rosa’s clip in the backseat, with which he unlocks the handcuffs, and then shoots Rogelio in the leg and makes a run.
Yancy follows him, and after he arrives in a parking lot, Mendez tries to shoot him from behind a car. However, Donald, the wannabe cop, arrives on the scene and gets shot by Mendez instead. Soon after this Yancy fires at Mendez, leaving him incapacitated.
Yancy comes back home
Soon in episode 7 of Bad Monkey, Yancy comes back home and meets his annoying neighbor. After their brief meeting, he goes into his office and learns that he still has to continue the job of a food inspector.
Before Yancy can go back to work, he meets Rosa at his house, and after their short intimate moment, the two decide to go back to work. Earlier, Rosa was with Neville, helping him treat his gunshot wound, as he was shot by Egg in the previous episode.
When Rosa does finally go back to her workplace, she realizes that forensics and autopsy are something she doesn’t want to do anymore. She tells the same to her sister, who reconciles with her, understands her, and also supports her decision.
Bonnie finally stops running
In the previous episode, Bonnie escaped yet again when the cops came to arrest her. In episode 7, she tries to feed herself to an alligator, however, she backs off in the final moments. Later in the episode, she shows up at Yancy’s, has a quick and emotional chat with him, and then leaves his place.
Later, she goes to her storehouse, where she finds cameras that the cops had installed to keep track of her whereabouts. She goes in front of one of the cameras and confesses that she wants to stop running. After this, she hands herself over to a detective.
The Dragon Queen’s magic isn’t real
In episode 7 of Bad Monkey, when the Dragon Queen visits Asia’s shop, she finds out that people of her community know that she stole the land from her client, whom she helped cross over. When confronted about the same, she doesn’t reply to Asia and quickly leaves her shop.
Asia next comes to Yaya and tells her that Gracie stole the land. Yaya finds it hard to believe that her granddaughter can do something like this. However, when she finds evidence in Gracie’s room, Yaya is still bewildered that she stole the land and made a fake deed. When the Dragon Queen arrives home, she goes to her mother’s grave with YaYa, where she reveals that she knows how Gracie stole the land.
YaYa requests that she give the land back to its righteous owner. However, Gracie gets frustrated and reveals to viewers that her magic isn’t real and she does not believe in curses, magic, or potions. All this while, she believed that she and her grandma had fooled people for money.
Although Yaya warns her and tells her that the magic is real, Gracie leaves the graveyard disappointed. She goes home and starts breaking things in rage. When Egg comes to meet her, she grabs him, and the two share an intimate moment.
Yancy gets his badge back
Yancy gets his badge and his gun back after Neville helps him prove to the detectives that Nick is still alive. They do this with the help of a recently clicked picture of Nick, who has just one hand now. Although the detectives are aware that Nick is alive, they tell Yancy that Nick and Eve will not be indicted before the insurance money is recovered.
Yancy has no other option but to listen to his superiors, so he comes back home disappointed. At home, Yancy and Rosa share a moment and talk about their day. However, the two are interrupted after Yancy’s father arrives with the confused Cody, who is left alone by Bonnie. Although Yancy welcomes his father, he is not so happy after seeing Cody. As the episode ends, in the final moments, a few armed men carrying rifles slowly march toward Yancy, and then the credits roll.
What to expect from the next episode of Bad Monkey?
Episode 7 of Bad Monkey once more ended on a cliffhanger as viewers of the show have no clue who these men are outside Yancy’s home. Episode 7 raised several questions for the viewers such as, who are the armed men, and what will happen to Yancy? The questions also remain if Yancy will find a way to save himself, Rosa, and his family, and whether have Nick and Rosa sent them to take care of Yancy.
All such questions are expected to be answered in the next Bad Monkey episode 8, which will be released on Apple TV+ on September 25.
