Episode 9 of Bad Monkey arrived exclusively on Apple TV+ on October 2, 2022. Episode 8 left fans on edge for a week, making them wonder if Eve looked at the Polaroid that could put Yancy's plan in danger, and this episode clears the air for Bad Monkey lovers.
Yes, Eve has looked at Yancy, Rosa, and Clasper's polaroid, and Operation Arrest is officially a failure. Yancy has to devise another plan to get the couple arrested for their long list of crimes.

Eve looks at the Polaroid in Bad Monkey episode 9
In Bad Monkey episode 9, while Yancy and Rosa are having a good time at the beach, Rosa receives a text from Eve. In the text, Eve tells Rosa they need to fly to Miami together immediately. Rosa packs her bags and bids Yancy and Neville goodbye. Yancy insists she takes a gun along, but she disagrees.
Soon in the episode, she reaches Eve and Nick's bungalow. Eve offers her a drink and tries to know more about Rosa. Rosa seems adamant and does not reveal much information about herself. She tells Eve they should leave for Miami before the storm comes.
However, Eve is in no hurry. She pulls out the Polaroid and flashes it in front of Rosa, revealin that she is aware of the entire plan Rosa has made with Yancy. Rosa realizes she is busted and gets up to leave immediately; however, Egg comes and stops her.
Yancy finds out about Rosa being in danger
Yancy, who goes to the bar with Neville in episode 9 of Bad Monkey, encounters Gracie once more. After talking about superheroes for a minute, Yancy asks Gracie if she possesses any knowledge about Rosa. Gracie does not delay for a second and tells Yancy that Rosa is in danger and Eve and Nick know who she is and why she has come to the island.
After hearing her out, Yancy takes Neville's bike and rushes to Nick's home to find Rosa. Upon sneaking into the house, Yancy finds Nick welcoming him with a shotgun. When Eve arrives, she tells Nick to shoot Yancy outside the house, as she does not want to dirty her bed with his blood.
Yancy has strong wordplay
Yancy thinks of a quick plan to save himself and grabs Eve's dog as a shield, knowing Eve would not let Nick shoot the dog. While Yancy holds the dog, he talks some sense into Nick and makes Nick contemplate his life. This buys Yancy more time, and Neville comes to the rescue from the back.
Nevvile breaks a fishing rod into two halves and attacks Nick from the back, leaving him surprised and wounded. Eve tries to pick up the shotgun and shoot them but misses.
Rosa comes home
After Yancy and Neville escape and go home, Rosa comes back, surprising everyone. She tells Yancy that she shot Egg with the gun Yancy smuggled in her bag earlier, after which she escaped. Yancy and Rosa do not waste a second more on the island, and go to find pilot Claspers.
They find Claspers at the bar and ask him to fly them to Miami. Claspers does not hesitate; however, he reveals that he has to ask his bosses if they are free. Yancy tells Claspers that he is a detective, and flashes his badge, revealing Rosa's identity as a doctor.
Claspers is also informed that Eve and Nick, who are his bosses, are frauds and murderers. In the end, Claspers, being Claspers, asks Yancy and Rosa for one last photo together, after which he decides to fly them to Miami.
Yancy stays back on the island
Before the jet takes off, Yancy tells Rosa that he has to stay back on the island and take care of the whole situation. Rosa tells him to leave with her, as it is dangerous to stay alone and fight Eve and Nick. However, Yancy disapproves of that and is hellbent on staying back and making Eve and Nick pay for everything they have done so far.
Rosa tells Yancy that if he does not come along, they will be done as lovers. However, Yancy, considering the bigger picture, disappoints Rosa, after which she flies to Miami with Claspers.
The Dragon Queen refuses to help Eve
Gracie, who wanted to leave the island earlier in the episode, could not do the same because of the storm and the flights getting canceled. However, staying back on the island made her realize how she was wrong about herself and her magic. Her mysterious encounter with her mother in episode 9 of Bad Monkey also makes her release how she was born to be the Dragon Queen, after which she returns home and rebuilds her alter that she broke in episode 8.
In the final seconds of episode 9, Gracie is seen in her old avatar, embracing the storm. When Eve comes to her and tells her how she needs to help Nick, who is injured, Gracie tells her that she will not help them anymore. She takes her knife and nicks Eve in the chin, revealing to her that the Dragon Queen is back and she is even more dangerous than Eve thought.
