Bad Monkey Season One, Episode 5 recap
Episode 5 of Bad Monkey was fast-paced and the shortest episode of the installment so far. In the fifth episode, after Yancy escapes death, grabs Nick’s phone, and goes to Rosa for assistance, he finds out that the cops are looking for him, thinking he killed Heather and the surgeon.
Although Rosa does an excellent job sneaking Yancy out and hiding him in her house, Yancy doesn’t stay there for long. Meanwhile, Nick’s phone unlocks, and that is his doom. Yancy and Rosa track the frauds down to the airport, however right before Yancy could make a run and catch Nick and Eve, the husband and wife escape on the jet.
For Nick, the whole episode was a headache. Not only did he mess up the Yancy assassination attempt, but he also failed to tell Eve about it. In the last moments of the episode, Yancy calls Eve and tells him that he is alive and is coming for them soon to expose the entire fraud scheme.
What to expect from Season 1 Episode 6 of Bad Monkey
From the official synopsis of episode six, we expect things to take a massive turn as the Dragon Queen confronts the corrupt couple as per the synopsis. The official synopsis of episode six reads:
"In need of help, Yancy turns to Rogelio and Bonnie goes on the run. The Dragon Queen confronts Nick and Eve."
Meanwhile, Yancy will have a lot to do. First, he has to convince the officers about how Even and Nick have faked an entire homicide by chopping off Nick’s arm to prove that he is dead so that the couple can benefit from the huge insurance sum. Secondly, we can hope Yancy chases them down after proving to the law officers that he hasn’t killed anyone, so arresting him would be unfair.
Viewers can also expect Rogelio to help Yancy, being his partner-in-law. With Bonnie also back in Yancy’s home in the last episode, there is a high chance of her being caught as the offices are expected to arrive at Yancy’s anytime. Meanwhile, we expect more screen time for Neville after he escaped in the previous episode on his boat, saving himself from Egg.
