Bad Monkey season 1, episode 8, titled The Russian Mob is Very Active in Key West, is set to arrive exclusively on Apple TV+ on September 25, 2024, at 12 a.m. ET.
The previous episode, A Total Cat Person, which arrived on the steamer on September 18, 2024, ended on a major cliffhanger after Yancy was shown to be in danger, as many armed men approached his home before the end credits rolled.
Episode 8 is expected to reveal to viewers who those armed men are and why they have arrived outside Yancy’s. Are Eve and Nick the ones who sent them? Alternatively, Yancy may have additional adversaries that viewers are unaware of. It's anticipated that these and other questions will be addressed in the upcoming Bad Monkey episode.

Bad Monkey season 1, episode 7 recap
One of the most important episodes in the first season of Bad Monkey was episode 7, as this episode included a lot of events.
Yancy got his badge back in the episode. Neville, meanwhile, helped Yancy and Rogelio find out Nick and Eve’s location. He also revealed to the detectives about Nick and Eve’s fraudulent ways and how they have been building their resort illegally.
Rosa quit her job as a forensics expert in episode 7, while Bonnie finally accepted her fate and handed herself over to the cops. The major revelation in episode 7 was that the Dragon Queen doesn't have any magic and has been putting up an act since the show’s inception to get free money from people.
The episode, though, ended on a cliffhanger. While Yancy and Rosa were at home, spending time with each other, Yancy’s father arrived with Cody. Soon after, a few men carrying rifles were seen approaching Yancy’s home. Viewers were left wondering who these men are and why they were outside Yancy's home.
What to expect from episode 8 of Bad Monkey season 1?
Firstly, this episode should reveal to viewers who those armed men were from the last episode and what are their connections with Yancy.
If they open fire at Yancy and his guests, will Yancy be able to save himself also remains the question of the hour. A Bad Monkey preview that was released before the season aired showed Yancy firing rounds with a rifle, but till episode 7, viewers haven't witnessed that scene on the show.
Perhaps episode 8 will be the one where Yancy will come to his rescue and could be seen in action. With three episodes remaining in season 1, and with Team Yancy on the winning side, Eve and Nick’s arrest also seem inevitable.
The eighth episode is titled The Russian Mob is Very Active in Key West. The synopsis for the same reads:
"With Caitlin and Rosa's help, Yancy cooks up a new plan to get Nick and Eve back to Miami."
As hinted in the synopsis, Yancy will get Rosa and Caitlin’s assistance to lure the deceptive couple back to Miami so that they can be arrested. The episode name also hints at the Russian mob, who could be the men outside Yancy’s home. More revelations about that are expected in episode 8.
