A brief recap of Bel-Air Season 3 Episode 6
In the previous episode of Bel-Air Season 3, the Bankses and their extended family started to open up and share their baggage in hopes of moving on from the past.
Will was inspired to reunite his family after seeing the Bankses work out their problems in Episode 5, so he called his mom to Bel-Air for the summer. He's hopeful to get to the bottom of the rift in his family, so he sets up an intervention with his parents, Vy and Lou. While the two are initially apprehensive, they end up sharing their previous hang-ups, especially Lou.
He recalled that both his parents died when he was the same age as Will and that he regretted what happened the night before he was sent to prison. But he doesn't regret trying to get the money he was owed to provide for his family. Vy also owned up to her part of what happened that night when Lou was accused of robbery.
As for Geoffrey, he got a visit from the past in Episode 5 from Frederick's mother, Penelope. In the next episode, another blast from his past, Roman, poses a risk to Frederick's safety if he doesn't go back to work for the organization.
Geoffrey had left that life behind, but with his son's life hanging in the balance, he felt like his hands were tied. Eventually, though, he tries to pay Roman with cash and hopes that it's enough to buy his and his family's freedom.
Carlton and Amira, who are nursing their newfound love from people who don't think that it's the right time for them to have a relationship, are tested when Amira stands Carlton and his parents up in their scheduled dinner.
Later, Carlton found out that the dinner fell on the same day as Amira's sister's death anniversary. They talked about life's messes and how Carlton would accept Amirae, including her mess, because he loves her.
What to expect from Bel-Air Season 3 Episodes 7 and 8?
In the upcoming Episode 7, titled "Black Lotus," Viv and Phil, who have decided to put their marriage first, spend some quality time vacationing somewhere in Mexico.
The next episode is expected to have the two reconnect and find attraction from one another. Will, who has now reconciled with his parents, will be stuck between his family and his chosen family, bringing more drama to his summer.
As for Episode 8, titled "Gimme a Break," the official synopsis teased a possible rift between Will and Carlton. The two had a misunderstanding about Blackccess in Episode 4, but more conflict is expected to arise in the upcoming episode as some secrets come out.
