Bel-Air Season 3, the modern-day re-imagination of the beloved classic comedy The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is out, and this time, it's a summer adventure for Will Smith. The season's first three episodes dropped on Peacock on August 15, 2024, while the rest will be dropped weekly.

Jabari Banks returns as Wil in Bel-Air Season 3l, taking over the summer in Bel-Air together with his cousin Carlton Banks (played by Olly Sholotan), who just got out of rehab.

As he settles into his life in the gated mansions of Bel-Air, far removed from the West Philly streets he grew up in, a world of different possibilities, emotions and conflicts await Will Smith and company.

From being a star basketball player, Will is trying something new for the summer—starting a business with Carlton. They went to the car show to promote their new brand, "Blackccess," and sell merch to help with Jazz (played by Jordan L. Jones)'s failing business.

What happened at the car show that Will and Carlton went to in Bel-Air Season 3?

It's summertime in Bel-Air Season 3, and Will Smith and the entire Banks family are off to face some big changes. In the aptly titled first episode called "Baby, I'm Back," Carlton returns home from his stint in rehab, while Will is confronted with the fact that his father is still in the area.

Nevertheless, the summer also brings lots of opportunities, and for the cousin duo, it's a new business. However, unsure of what kind of business they wanted to run, Will and Carlton brainstormed ideas and presented them to the family, but to no avail.

As they figure out the kinks of their new business, the two get a summer job at the famed country club in Bel-Air Season 3 Episode 2, titled "Pivot." But the experience is nothing like they expected, as they have to start from the ground up—as pit pigs.

Looking to level up and hit the ground running in their new brand, Will and Carlton find inspiration during the event in Uncle Phil's (played by Adrian Holmes) law firm. They now have their new brand — Blackccess.

Ready to promote their latest venture, the duo printed their merch as they got ready to go to the car show. But first, they invited Fredrick (played by Joivan Wade) along. He's Geoffrey (played by Jimmy Akingbola)'s son, whom Will is wary of.

While at the car show wearing their new Blackccess merch, Will found out that Jazz is thinking of selling his vintage car to tide his business along. Trying to help his friend, he proposes to wager the car for cash if Carlton wins the street race.

However, as the race is about to start, Carlton has cold feet, so Will decides to take the lead and be the driver instead. Of course, Carlton won't let him race alone, so he sits on the passenger's side.

The night was a success for Will and company, as they won the race, even after a bad turn that caused them to drive to narrow alleyways. Eventually, they finish first, and Jazz gets to keep his vintage care with some extra cash to help his business.

However, in a quick turn of events, Fredrick, who had started a betting game for the illegal street race, gets in a squabble with some guys who want their money back.

Will and Carlton are caught in the middle, and as the fight between them is about to break out, cops arrive. The three ran for their lives, trying to evade cops, and the moment they did, Geoffrey arrived in his car.

When he asked them what happened, Fredrick lied that Will and Carlton got in trouble, and it was lucky for them that he was there to get them out of it. Will is dumbfounded, and the Bel-Air Season 3 premiere ends with him becoming even more wary of Fredrick and his motives for being in Bel-Air for the summer.

Did Will and Lisa fight at the car show in Bel-Air Season 3?

Will and Lisa (played by Simone Joy Jones) are not "together" because she doesn't want to put any label on what they have.

However, before their relationship can even begin, another one from the past is proving to be a thorn between them. Jackie, who had previously got a "thing" with Will, is the new yoga instructor at the Bel-Air country club where Will is working and Lisa is a lifeguard.

At the car show where Will and Carlton went with their significant others, Lisa and Amira, the girl Carlton met at rehab, Jackie was also present. She was supposedly helping promote Will and Carlton's new brand, and Lisa was fine with it at first because, as she said, they have to keep their eyes on the prize.

At one point, when the four of them are coupled up, Jackie goes to Will, saying something about meeting other people for his business. She holds his hands, dragging him to the opposite side of the street. Meanwhile, Amira gets offended by what Jackie's doing on Lisa's behalf.

Later in the evening, after the street race Will won, the four of them are walking on their way home before Jackie interrupts again, inviting them to celebrate over burgers and fries. Lisa, who was busy the next day, declined. Will, though, was eager to go, and Jackie, trying to insert between them, finally offended her.

In uncharacteristic Lisa fashion, she called Jackie a b*tch and confronted her about trying to get Will's attention. While everyone was dumbstruck by Lisa lashing out, Amira told Jackie to leave. With the other girl out, Lisa walked out too, and when Will went after her to ask her what happened, she said:

"When I said no labels, it's because you don't know what you want."

Thankfully for those who are team Will and Lisa, the two made up the next day as Will reassured her that nothing was going on between him and Jackie and that he knows who he wants, and that's Lisa. Bel-Air Season 3 Episode 3 ended with Will and Lisa embracing their relationship with a label.

More drama at the Banks house at the end of Bel-Air Season 3

By the end of Bel-Air Season 3, drama is still brewing for Will and the rest of the Banks family.

Will still doesn't want to be like his dad, and he's going to be busy starting his new business. Carlton is still trying to get his life in order and clean up his reputation after his rehab stint.

As for the rest of the Banks family, Phil and Viv (played by Cassandra Freeman) are nowhere near trying to repair their relationship. Moreover, Erika (played by Diandra Lyle), who had a thing with Phil before, is back in the background. They shared a kiss, and it's something Viv still doesn't know about.

Hillary (played by Coco Jones) is also in the middle of a love drama, as she's now engaged to LaMarcus (played by Justin Cornwell) but had a sneaky kiss with Jazz during the firm party.
