Bookie season 2 episode 5 drops next Thursday, January 9, 2025, only on Max, to continue Danny's fun and dramatic life as a veteran bookie in LA. His home life has gotten out of control since he got Sandra, with her mom Wendy tagging along, back at the house at the beginning of Season 2.
Wendy getting entangled with a married neighbor, which ended in a murder-suicide for the couple, was only one of the examples.
In the next episode, Danny's professional life will be hanging in balance, with Ray indisposed because he will have to deal with Frank's untimely death. He's going to need a muscle to replace Ray in making rounds to his remaining clients, and Hector's going to be it.

However, Danny and Wendy ended up in an agreement in the end— he would give her a second chance and let her stay at the house, and she would help sweeten him up for Sandra. She also convinced him that her being at the house would keep Sandra from spiraling out of control.
Meanwhile, Ray's home life turned even more chaotic after Janelle, an ex-girlfriend and mother of his second kid, arrived out of the blue. He also thought that Grandma Marian smothered Frank to death with a pillow. Bookie season 2 episode 4 also saw Hector and Lorraine falling out in their business with Walt, ending with Lorraine's stash of psychedelics being ransacked.
