Lionsgate Television's Borderline season 1 is heading to the Roku Channel for US fans to start streaming on September 1, 2024. The Irish detective series has Robert Quinn as the director, the same man behind the camera for the shows Jekyll, Hyde, and The Bay.

Eoin Macken and Amy De Bhrún star in the series, with both playing detectives but with opposite personalities. Macken's Inspector Boyd is a straitlaced, by-the-book character to De Bhrún's Inspector Regan, who has a foul-mouthed, forceful persona. Neither of them is happy with the partnership, but they must set aside their personal and professional differences to solve the most brutal cases along the border.

A formidable list of cast and characters join Borderline season 1, including Love & Friendship's Lochlann O'Mearain and Hugh O'Connor from Chocolat.
