Borderline season 1 is set to make its U.S. debut on the Roku Channel on September 1. The series revolves around the unlikely partnership between two detectives from different sides of the Irish border.

Inspector Philip Boyd from Northern Ireland and Inspector Aoife Regan from the Republic of Ireland are forced to work together, despite their mutual disdain. Created and written by John Forte, Borderline season 1's storyline deftly explores personal and professional conflicts against the backdrop of international crime.

The series sees Boyd, portrayed by Eoin Macken, and Regan, played by Amy De Bhrun, negotiate their differences while handling some of the most difficult cases of their careers.

Starting on the Roku Channel in the United States on September 1, Borderline season 1 is slated for a U.K. and Ireland release on MGM+ on September 2.

Every episode presents fresh difficulties and revelations that force Boyd and Regan to face their prejudices and develop mutual trust. The suspense and erratic nature of the story captivate the audience and develop anticipation for the next seasons.

De Bhrun, known for her performance in Line of Duty and crime thrillers such as ason Bourne, Blackshore, Gridlock, and Vikings, portrays Regan with a mix of grit and sensitivity.

Eoin Macken, known for his roles in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and La Brea, gives his character depth and intensity. Lochlann O'Mearáin and other members of the supporting cast provide more layers to the story.

Robert Quinn has directed the show, with Mary Callery and Steve November serving as executive producers. The series been produced by ShinAwiL and Further South Productions, in partnership with Screen Ireland and Lionsgate Television.
