Car Masters: Rust to Riches is a reality television series that premiered on September 14, 2018, on Netflix. It revolves around the crew at Gotham Garage, led by the owner Mark Towle, as they seek to transform old, run-down cars into one-of-a-kind custom vehicles for a huge profit.

The series aired its second season on March 27, 2020, its third season on August 4, 2021, its fourth season on July 27, 2022, and the fifth season on December 13, 2023.

Car Masters: Rust to Riches is produced by Mak Pictures, while Will Ehbrecht, Scott Popjes, Rob Hammersley, John Stokel, Mark Kadin, and Michael Lutz serve as its executive producers. The show's synopsis, as per Rotten Tomatoes, reads:

"Owner Mark Towle leads a colorful crew, which overhauls an eclectic collection of cars with the goal of trading their way up to a showstopper that can be sold for big bucks. As the title "Car Masters: Rust to Riches" suggests, Towle and his crew are hoping they can use their sweat equity and sheer car genius to turn their rusty wrecks into six-figure paydays."

Mark Towle is the owner of Gotham Garage, a car restoration and makeover shop in Temecula, California. He is a car mechanic, automotive designer, and car and motorcycle restorer.

Mark has supervised restoration work on the 1933 Ford replica, the Lincoln Futura, the Plymouth XNR replica, and the custom Batmobile replica. He has also built custom props and vehicles for Hollywood movies and television shows. He brought his expertise to the sci-fi series Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight and the true crime series, America’s Most Wanted.


2) Constance Nunes as Herself

Constance Nunes is the only female cast member of Car Masters: Rust to Riches. She works as a mechanic and exhibits a deep knowledge of automobiles, especially muscle cars. Nunes has worked on numerous restoration and rebuilding projects on the show, including the Babystang.

She owns a muscle car restoration business called Cars by Constance in Murietta, California. The multi-talented woman is also a professional race car driver, having participated in car rallies like the Targa Trophy and Gumball 3000.

In addition to her love of cars, Constance is also a part-time model and has worked with brands like Reebok and Wrangler.


3) Shawn Pilot as Himself

Shawn Pilot is a former actor who starred in the 1999 film, Three Kings, and a 2011 episode of the reality series, Inside West Coast Customs. He works as a car broker on the series and makes use of his Hollywood connections to secure high-end clients for Gotham Garage.


4) Tony Quinones as Himself

As seen in the show, Tony Quinones is the primary engineer and fabricator at Gotham Garage. As Mark's right-hand man, he is responsible for bringing the owner's bold designs to life using his technical skills and artistic know-how.

Moreover, Tony founded his own custom car business called TQ Customs, which deals with specialized automotive projects.


5) Michael 'Caveman' Pyle as Himself

The fan-favorite Michael 'Caveman' Pyle is one of the mechanics at Gotham Garage. His distinctive long beard, wild hair, and sense of humor have endeared him to longtime fans of the show.

Pyle has been a part of the team since the beginning and has worked on many projects, including one that turned a 1954 Army ambulance into a party bus.
