While most plot details are still under wraps, the official synopsis for the season was released earlier, suggesting that this installment will be a darker and bolder version of the previous season. With the narrative moving forward, it is expected to be more intense.

"Now joined by the legendary Alucard, Richter Belmont and his band of vampire hunters are in a desperate race against time. Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror."

All eight episodes of the show will drop together on January 16, allowing viewers a holistic viewing experience without having to wait for new episodes.
