Colin From Accounts is an Australian English-language comedy-drama series, created by Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer. The husband-wife duo plays the lead characters of Gordon and Ashley. The show also features Emma Harvie, Helen Thomson, Genevieve Hegney, and Michael Logo in prominent roles.

The synopsis of the show reads:

"Ashley and Gordon are two single(ish), complex humans who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog."

Its first season was released on Binge on December 1, 2022, consisting of eight episodes. The series received favorable reviews from critics and audiences. The second season was out on Binge on May 30, 2024.

Paramount+ has now picked Colin From Accounts and will re-release season two on September 26, 2024.

Harriet Dyer plays Ashley Mulden, one of the show's central characters whose life pivots after an accident involving a dog named Colin. She becomes the co-parent of the pet with Gordon, played by her real-life husband Patrick Brammall.

Patrick Brammall portrays Gordon, the co-parent of the dog Colin, who he adopts with Ashley after an unusual accident. His relationship with Ashley forms the core of the series and provides the viewers with a blend of humor and emotions.

Emma Harvie plays Megan, Ashley's best friend and a fellow medicine student in Colin From Accounts. Megan is a hard-partying person who always supports Ash in her endeavors. She also begins a relationship with Chiara in the latter parts of the show.

Megan is one of the most major roles in Emma Harvie's career. She started her acting journey with short films such as Revolt and Come With Me, and moved towards television through projects such as RFDS, Frayed, and In Limbo.

5) Helen Thomson as Lynelle

Helen Thomson plays Ashley's mother Lynelle. Lynelle is rapturously toxic as a mother who often brings bad news to her daughter at the wrong time. She also doesn't miss a chance to embarrass her daughter.

Before playing Gladys Presley in the biographical film Elvis, Helen Thomson has had a career spanning over three decades in performing arts. She has multiple stage credits to her name and has also worked in dozens of television shows. Her film projects include Gettin' Square, A Man's Gotta Do, and La Spagnola.
