Creature Commandos episode 1 and 2 recap
Creature Commandos begins with Amanda Waller recruiting Rick Flag Sr. so that he can lead a team of monsters to Pokolistan. The mission sees the new Task Force M stopping Circe who is hellbent on taking over the country so that she can invade Themyscira next. The reason Waller is assembling monsters as she is no longer allowed to send humans on dangerous missions.
Dr. Phosphorus, Nina Mazurksy, G.I. Robot, The Bride, and the Weasel are assembled as the team heads to Pokolistan. In Pokolistan, they are led into the royal castle where they are greeted by Princess Ilana Rostovic who takes a liking to Rick Flag Sr. However, he keeps denying her romantic passes but eventually gives in to them later.
Later on, The Bride escapes to go back to her birthplace to retrieve a necklace important to her and she is followed by Nina. There, it is revealed that she was created by Victor Frankenstein so that she could be a bride to his monster Eric Frankenstein. However, Victor fell in love with her which led to Eric killing him. Over the centuries, Eric kept following her to win her over.
Circe is then notified of the Bride and Nina's location and takes them in. The premiere ends on a cliffhanger as Rick Flag Sr. and the rest of the team are on their way to save them.
