Creature Commandos episode 4 is set to premiere on December 19, 2024, on Max. The episode, titled Chasing Squirrels, had its preview posted by James Gunn on his socials and it looks like fans will be diving deep into the backstory of the oddest member of the group, Weasel. The preview teases that Weasel's tragic backstory will be explored in the upcoming episode.
The preview for Creature Commandos episode 4 showcases Weasel with his lawyer as he is accused of killing kids. However, the preview also teases that he may not have committed those murders after all. Not just that, but going into the episode, fans will see Circe's true motivations and why she thinks that the Creature Commandos may have just doomed the planet.

Creature Commandos episode 3 recap
Episode 3 of Creature Commandos picks up from the cliffhanger seen at the end of episode 2. With The Bride and Nina Mazursky being taken in by Circe, the Creature Commandos finally arrive to their help. However, Circe has left by then and they find the Bride and Nina tied up. While Rick Flag Sr. questions why Circe didn't kill them, he soon realizes that the Castle is open for attack.
He then rushes back to save the Princess from Circe and the Sons of Themyscira. At the same time, the episode also dives into the backstory of G.I. Robot. Fans get to see G.I. Robot fighting Nazis in World War II alongside the Easy Company as that is his only directive. However, after World War II is over, he loses his purpose.
He is passed around from lab to lab and ends up in the hands of Will Magnus who aims to research on him and make his own bots. A few years later, G.I. Robot ends up in the hands of a World War II collector who ends up taking him to a Nazi meeting. G.I. Robot then kills everyone there and is arrested for his crimes. Back in the present day, the titular group finally comes to the Princess' rescue.
Unfortunately, Circe arrives on the spot and kills G.I. Robot immediately. She then goes to kill the Princess, but Weasel arrives right on time and can take down Circe. Dr. Phosphorus joins in stopping her too and leaves her injured. The episode then ends with Circe claiming that by stopping her from killing the princess they have just doomed the world.
What can fans expect from Creature Commandos episode 4?
Going into Creature Commandos episode 4, fans can expect to see Weasel's backstory explored further. While only hints of it were given to fans in The Suicide Squad, fans can expect the show to dive deep into it and reveal more about why he was arrested - as was the case with G.I. Robot.
The preview for Creature Commandos episode 4 also gives a sneak peek into Circe's vision of a doomed future, and fans can also further expect to see The Bride and Eric Frankenstein reunite.
