Creature Commandos: Full list of cast in the series

Creature Commandos is all set to premiere next week on Max and with it, James Gunn's brand-new DC Universe is set to begin as well. Featuring a cast of monsters that are thrust into saving the world in a brand new dangerous mission, the series will feature actors like Viola Davis, Frank Grillo, Steve Agee, Alan Tudy, and more as they bring these DC comic characters to life.

Creature Commandos will officially be the first project to kick off this new continuity of DC films and shows. It will be connected to previous projects like The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker in some capacity, but it will also be establishing a new canon and continuity. This is the continuity that all future DC projects will be connected to unless they are Elseworlds projects like The Batman - Part II.

The show will also feature characters like Rick Flag Sr., Amanda Waller, Weasel, Frankenstein, and more.

Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr.

Actor Frank Grillo will be voicing Rick Flag Sr. in Creature Commandos. He is the father of Rick Flag who was previously featured in Suicide Squad and The Suicide Squad and was played by Joel Kinnaman. Grillo will also be portraying the character in the upcoming Superman film from James Gunn and will also be in Peacemaker Season 2.

Viola Davis as Amanda Waller

Acclaimed actress Viola Davis will return to portray Amanda Waller in the upcoming DC series. After also previously appearing in Suicide Squad, The Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker, she will be portraying the hardened leader of A.R.G.U.S. who will be assembling the titular DC group as they go on a mission to save the world.

Sean Gunn as G.I. Robot and Weasel

Sean Gunn, James Gunn's brother, will be starring as not one, but two characters in the show - G.I. Robot and Weasel. While G.I. Robot is a new character that will be introduced from the DC lore, Gunn already portrayed Weasel in The Suicide Squad.

Alan Tudyk as Doctor Phosphorous, Clayface, and Will Magnus

Alan Tudyk will be voicing three characters in Creature Commandos. While Doctor Phosphorous, a member of the group who is permanently radioactive, will be his main role, he will also be stepping into the shoes of Clayface and Will Magnus. Tudyk also already voiced a version of Clayface in Harley Quinn, but this will be a different character than that.

Anya Chalotra as Circe

The Witcher fame Anya Chalotra will be stepping into the DC Universe as well. She will be portraying the role of Circe who is generally a Wonder Woman villain. However, it looks like she will be an antagonist in the DC show as well. This will be her second time playing one after portraying Yeneffer in The Witcher.

What is Creature Commandos about?

The upcoming DC series is about a group of monsters who are assembled by Amanda Waller and led by Rick Flag to take on a dangerous mission. Here is the official logline:
