Robert Feldman, a man from Denver, faced first-degree murder charges as his wife, Stacy Feldman, was found dead in the bathtub of their home. Stacy had discovered Robert's affair with Susan McBride, which possibly served as the motive behind the murder.
Combining an inconsistent alibi with the tip from Susan McBride, the Denver Police Department looked into Stacy's autopsy report and a second opinion determined her death to be due to strangulation, suffocation, and blunt force trauma. Robert Feldman is presently serving life at the Sterling Correctional Facility.

Why was Robert Feldman suspected? Details explored
The 44-year-old mother of two, Stacy Feldman, was found unresponsive in her bathtub on March 1, 2015. Her husband of 10 years, Robert Feldman, returned home with their children to allegedly find Stacy in the tub with the cold water running. However, the Senior Chief Deputy District Attorney Maggie Conboy mentioned:
“The firefighters noticed there was no water on the floor.”
While the 911 operator gave Robert instructions to perform CPR on Stacy, they failed to notice any changes in Stacy's respiration, according to Fox 31 News. As the investigations began, the detectives learned that Robert had been uncooperative with the paramedics and officers at the crime scene. Robert wished against an autopsy report.
Robert Feldman mentioned that Stacy had taken cannabis edibles but no traces of THC were found in her system after forensic tests. Additionally, the detectives discovered that Robert had cashed out $750,000 from Stacy's life insurance policy soon after Stacy Feldman's death, according to The Denver Post.
A tip from Susan McBride, Robert's Tinder date from 2015, three months later, gave the investigators the impetus to drill down to the motive behind a possible homicide. Susan McBride had contacted Stacy the day she was found dead to let her know about Robert's escapades. Robert Feldman had slept with McBride under the pretext of a divorce.
Robert was subsequently found to own multiple profiles on dating websites with aliases Robert Wolfe and Mike Reed. He had encounters with five women after Stacy Feldman's death and one of them, Stephanie Schumaker, accused him of s*xual assault as well.
Where is Robert Feldman now?
Stacy Feldman's death was initially considered to be due to an undetermined cause. A second opinion from one of the prolific doctors specializing in domestic violence cases, Dr. Bill Smock, proved that Stacy died due to blunt force trauma, strangulation, and suffocation, according to the arrest affidavit.
Stacy Feldman's death was considered a concealed homicide staged to look like an accident. Feldman was arrested on February 13, 2018, and charged with first-degree murder. The jury took less than three hours to declare him guilty.
Robert Feldman was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on April 19, 2022, according to 9News. He is presently incarcerated at the Sterling Correctional Facility in Logan County, Colorado.
