Daytime Emmy Awards 2024: Who is hosting the 51st edition?

One of the biggest nights in the overall television industry, the Daytime Emmy Awards 2024 is finally here, set to be streamed worldwide on June 7. Every year, the Awards felicitate the best TV shows and programs aired in the past year, with a range of the industry’s biggest faces showing up for the event.

This year, the event will be available to be live-streamed on the CBS network, which opens doors for a variety of streaming platforms. This includes the likes of DirecTV, Fubo, and Hulu Live TV, which means that even a Paramount+ subscription is not a compulsion to watch the event live.

The live event will see the announcement of the winners of a range of categories and will start off with a 2-hour ceremony set to feature multiple major artists. Furthermore, the Daytime Emmy Awards 2024 will be hosted by the likes of Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, who are also both nominees for this year’s award for Outstanding Daytime Personality (Daily).

Daytime Emmy Awards 2024: Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner return as hosts

Entertainment Tonight co-hosts Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner are hosting the Daytime Emmys 2024. The award show airs live on Friday, June 7, at 8 p.m. ET.

Frazier and Turner have previously hosted the Daytime Emmys in 2022 and 2023, making this their third consecutive year being on the awards show. They will be returning despite being nominated for the award mentioned above.

A range of the best TV shows from the past year feature in a variety of categories. This includes the likes of The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, and the documentary African Queens.

The latter, a Netflix series, joins the other two with the highest number of nominations for Daytime Emmy Awards 2024, with 12. The Daytime Emmy Awards 2024 will also see Thomas Scott and Edward J. Scott honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

In addition to the two hosts, the evening will be adorned by presenters such as Kristos Andrews, Lidia Bastianich, Lauralee Bell, Eric Braeden, and Kelly Clarkson, and the night will also see special appearances from the likes of Amanda Kloots and Jerry O’Connell.

• Daytime Talk Series: "The Jennifer Hudson Show," "The Kelly Clarkson Show," "Tamron Hall," "Turning the Tables with Robin Roberts," and "The View."
