The Utica teenager, Bianca Devins (17), was murdered by her friend Brandon Clark (21) in the early hours of July 14, 2019, according to USA Today. Fondly remembered by her loved ones as Bia or Bee, Devins allegedly had a goth online presence and she used the space to nurture her talents of music and art.

Bianca Devisn had attended a Nicole Dollanganger concert in Queens, New York City with Clark (21) and another friend they had in common, Alex, on July 13, 2019. Bianca had met Brandon Andrew Clark on Instagram in April 2019 and invited him to her graduation party on June 28, 2019, per HuffPost.

The concert took place after two weeks when Bianca reportedly shared an intimate moment with Alex. This was the alleged stimulus for Clark to commit the heinous crime that took place a few hours later. While authorities and official reports stated that Bianca and Brandon shared an intimate relationship, Bianca's family has denied such claims saying that the two shared a friends-with-benefits relationship.

What happened to Bianca Devins?

Bianca Devins and Brandon Clark returned to Utica from the Nicole Dollanganger concert and the two reportedly had an argument wherein Devins emphasized that the two had not been dating, per Syracuse.com. The Utica Police mentioned in a press release:

"The investigation revealed that the argument progressed until the male produced a large, black-handled knife and used this to inflict the injuries that caused her death."

After the argument, Bianca moved to the backseat to take a quick nap when Clark set up a camera and allegedly prepared himself with the murder weapon. Brandon Clark sliced Bianca's neck with the knife and continued to assault her while documenting the process.

Clark shared photos of Bianca's corpse on his Discord server with the caption:

""sorry f*****s, you're going to have to find somebody else to orbit."

Clark left her almost-decapitated body in the backseat while he built a bonfire and played Joji's Test Drive, per Syracuse.com. Clark eventually concealed Bianca's body with a green tarpaulin sheet. He made several calls to the Utica Police Department before he attempted suicide and slit his neck.

The deputies at the crime scene in Poe Street arrived around 7:20 am local time to save Clark who was subsequently charged with the second-degree murder of Bianca Devins.
