Creature Commandos post-credits features Eric Frankenstein
The post-credits scene in the Creature Commandos season finale confirms that Eric Frankenstein is well and alive. In a short scene, he is seen talking to an old lady who seems to have nursed him back to health after he was shot by The Bride. Furthermore, he is heard talking about how in love he is with the Bride and then goes on to insult the food the old lady had cooked for him.
Earlier in the season finale, Frankenstein had traveled to Pokolistan to stop the Bride from killing Princess Ilana Rostovic. He did this on Rick Flag's order and because he wanted to be reunited with The Bride. However, when he approached her, the Brid shot him constantly with his bullets and it looked like life had left Frankenstein's eyes.
However, the ending does confirm that he is well and alive. His fate here reflects how Bogdana had found him in the past as well after the Bride had left him to die. In episode 5 of the series where his past is explored, it is shown that an old lady by the name of Bogdana took Frankenstein in after his castle burned down to the ground. She nursed him back to health and treated him like her son as well.
But Frankenstein's heart lies in finding the Bride so he kills Bogdana and sets out on his journey to find his love.
What can fans expect from Creature Commandos season 2?
A season 2 of Creature Commandos is confirmed to be on the way. Going into the second season of the DC animated series, fans can expect to see The Bride leading Task Force M as new members have been confirmed to join the team. At the end of the season finale, fans can see that She-Bat, an updated version of G.I. Robot, and King Shark have joined the roster as well.
They will be joining Dr. Phosphorus and Weasel in the team. However, it remains unknown whether Rick Flag Sr. will be a part of the team. The character is confirmed to appear in Peaceamaker season 2 and the upcoming Superman movie as well. Fans can expect Eric Frankenstein to return in season 2 as well.
