DreamWorks Animation's animated science fiction comedy film Home premiered at the Boulder International Film Festival on March 7, 2015. After receiving success at the festival, the film was released theatrically on March 27, 2015, in the United States.
The plot for Home was slightly inspired by The True Meaning of Smekday, a 2007 children's book by Adam Rex. The screenplay was written by Tom J. Astle and Matt Emberhe with direction handled by Tim Johnson. It was produced by Mireille Soria, Suzanne Buirgy, and Chris Jenkins and distributed by 20th Century Fox.
The film comprised an all-star cast of voice actors, including Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, and Steve Martin. Matt Jones, Frank Welker, and Brian Stepanek also participated in the cast.

In the beginning, Oh is seen pursuing Kyle to be friends with him. However, before that could happen properly, Smek summoned Kyle to chase after Oh. But all ends well for the duo, as they eventually become good friends.

Frank Welker as Pig

Brian Stepanek as the Gorg Commander
Brian Stepanek plays the Gorg Commander, the leader and father of the Gorg in Home. He is one of the main antagonists in the movie alongside Captain Smek. In addition to lending his voice to Gorg Commander's character, he has also lent his voice to other characters depicted in the movie.
