What a year it has been for television, and what better way to celebrate it than the highly coveted Emmy Awards, which recognize the various fields of television and is widely considered the biggest achievement for any television series. In the age of streaming, the competition and the quality of the shows have improved, leading to a packed set this year.
The 76th Emmy Awards will take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 15, 2024. The nominations were announced earlier today by Tony Hale, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Cris Abrego, the chairperson of the Television Academy.
Many great shows have stepped up and competed for the honor this year, but with the nominations out, we can see that two shows, The Bear and Shogun, are leading the pack, with 25 and 23 nominations each. Netflix, meanwhile, has landed 107 nominations across 35 programs.
Without further ado, let us dive into the full list of nominees.
