Evil season 4 episode 6, titled “How to Dance in Three Easy Steps,” was released on June 27, 2024. The latest episode turned out to be rather terrifying than the rest, given it explored more about the terrifying aspects of necromancy and how devastating it could be. However, the episode was not only about the new case for the trio but also focused on other characters, including David and Sheryl.

David has been seen gradually making progress in his gifts, but the amount of toll it is taking on his mental health has become unbearable for him. On the other side, Sheryl’s recent discovery has caused her to lose her temper, and the person who has enraged her has little to no chance of talking things out.

However, the major highlight of the episode was Katherine, a professional dancer who was accused of killing her children. However, she claimed that it was a demon that possessed her. As the episode progressed, the culprit was presumed to be Katherine’s fellow dancer Isabella and her group, who were accused of necromancy. However, the real wrongdoer turned out to be Megan Tyree.

As seen in Evil season 4 episode 6, the most overlooked character turned out to be the major antagonist behind the killing of Katherine’s innocent children. Maegan Tyree successfully pulled off the “Wolf in sheep’s clothing” by playing a victim and framing Isabella and her group as responsible for destroying Katherine’s life.

In the final moments of the episode, Ben discovers through the picture taken of the demonic sigil on Megan’s waist, for which she blames Isabella, that it is actually her own doing. Later, Father Dominic met Megan with other priests and called her Princeps daemonum Necromaticorum, which enraged the entity within her, causing her to attack the former.

Princeps daemonum Necromaticorum was the very demon responsible for killing Katherine and her children, a demon that was believed to have been eliminated a long time ago by the Church. The name, which is in Latin, literally means Pince of Necromantic Demons. Given the title, the demon can raise, control, and summon dead spirits.

Although Isabella and her group were not guilty, they were surely involved in some peculiar non-religious practices, as David saw and felt the presence of an entity within the dance group. During his first encounter with the spirit, David was told to “shed God and know greatness.” He accused Isabella and her group of practicing witchcraft, which she candidly denied.

However, when David asked about the spirit, Isabella told him it was a “Muse.” The episode didn’t explicitly delve into what a Muse is. However, based on Greek Mythology, the Muses are a source and goddess of inspiration, particularly in creative and artistic endeavors. As per the ancient Greek religion, there are nine Muses, each with a specific attribute.

Given Isabelle and her group’s profession, the entity was Terpsichore, one of the nine Muses, the goddess of dance and chorus in Greek Mythology.
